*is silent* Holy hell. o_o
By far, this has become my new favorite of yours. ^_^
Need to find another word other than "kickass"...ah, how about wicked?
I'll find a word worthy of what I'm trying to say, but for now-- excellent work, mon amie. Smiley

Trick Of The Light.

Day in and day out of the darkness and fade.
To sink in; to be a scene to condemn.
The light through the cracks.
My hope and sanity.

Conviction of the truth. [It hurts.]
Tumbling backwards from existence.
The salvation demanded from me.
A salute and they march along.
Rhythm of feet to close lips.

Ahead is the light.
False meaning yet holds my truth.
A wilting flower to float along the path.
Towards the cracks and vanish from me.
It’s the trick of the light.
Escaping from sight.

Till I’ve become invisible to the militia.

The salvation demanded from me.

This line really pops out at you...or to me it did. xD

I still haven't found a word worthy of describing your work, so for now...
I give you the flame of awesomeness *flicks open lighter*

Blurred Reflection

Oh wow. What a starting, and what an ending. Absolutely stunning!

Trick of the Light
feels like a reminder of a revolution. idk why. But it does inspire some strong feelings. I like that, and the theme's completely new, and that's cool Mr. Green

Hey Britt, It's me. (:

So I've been dreading the past few weeks. Been thinking a lot about what I used to do and the people that have always helpled me do that. Could never forget that poetry was that one thing I said I'd never leave.

Anyways, I'm just stunned. Your words always managed to keep me asking for more. Since the beginning when we didn't really know much about this whole writing business 'til the last time I remember, where both of us were thrilled about how far we'd made it.

So I just don't know what to say.
I can't seem to get this smile off my face.
Your poems have always meant so much to me.
And I'm sorry that I can't really find a good meaning to this comment,
I owe you a crit or two. =)

For now, I'll go back to reading those poems that convinced myself to start going back to all of this. Hope I'll get to see you around soon on the boards. 'Cause maybe this is all starting again.

Once more, I keep on asking.
Never stop writing?

Twilight.

Deepening the ending of the beautiful face;
The obvious frame of grace and spark.
Saying the breaking words in lavender cords,
Across porcelain skin, marble to the touch.

Golden eyes awake at every moment.
Capturing the world in a re-run of scenes.
Day light to night in hours of out lived timing.
Rules to regard within taking a breath.
A gasp caught in the wind to escape.
For air means nothing for these lungs.

A beat-less heart to love and adore,
A mere being in flaws of years aging.
Sweetened blood; tempting thirst.
Burning veins and crimson eyes.
Unlimited life for love to spare.
Yours and mine…

It remains in the twilight…

Ehhhh. I hate everything related to twilight automatically =/
But I liked this poem. It just shows your obvious talent;

Rules to regard within taking a breath.
A gasp caught in the wind to escape.
For air means nothing for these lungs.

Street Lights.

The horizon fades from sight through distance.
Causing the haze to blind memories.
Left to search for the answer;
The answer of truth in the world.
[Heartless.]

Unknown to be the question.
Along the roads winding down.
Enemies distracting proof.
Street lights guiding home.
Its plain madness to leave nor stay.
Endless wreckage inside to carry.

[My comfort will lie in you…]
Blackout the lights and bring me home.

But truly, I enjoyed the whole poem-- it gave me a mysterious vibe.
