Why Do You Like My Chemical Romance?

I just KNOW this is gonna be a long post, but anyways.....

I like them because they're not afrid to have problems and I just respect Gerard so much for getting sober.

and they also have a certain creativity about just the way they play, and the lyrics and just who they act. its just different from those other bands who ignore their fans and get on their tour bus to get laid from their groupies. they really care about their fans and the music. not just the fame and shit

but they just helped me alot when I was really depressed. they made me want to draw again and make something of myself.. So i definatly salute their great personalities, their hilarious quotes, the music they play, the fact that the will never get too big and turn out like asses, and lastly, the fact that they just kick ass. period.

I like them because you can tell that they live for what they are doing and they don't give a fuck about being famous or having shitloads of money. I also love them for helping so many people through difficult times in their lives and never forgetting where they came from or becoming up themselves.

So many reasons, I'll only list 3

1. They're different

2. They've got creative lyrics

3. Gerard Way, duh

Their lyrics are amazing. Theres alot of things about their songs that I can
relate to. And it just helps me get through things, knowing that i'm not
alone and there are other people who think like me.

Like, in school I was an outcast, who was more into the geekier stuff and
would always get picked on so when I first saw the Im Not Okay video, I knew that this was the band I wanted to get into.

Or when I was looking through a magizine and found a quote from Gerard,
"There's somthing about us thats going to appeal to you. Maybe it's because your different - and we are to." And that quote for some reason really hit me.

They are just an amazing band, that are good at what they do -making an
impact on peoples lives.

Also- Ray Toro is one hell of a guitar player!

Because they are amazing musicians.They play music the way they want to not how they're told to.They have a great image that has really inspired me to be who I am now. I love the lyrics, stuff from the heart, you can relate to it. The fact that they actually appreciate us. I can't go a day without listening to their music...I think I actually would die without it. It's got me through and I love it for that. I love it because it fucking rules. End of story.

Their music attract me
Once I listen to their song...I just hardly stop and I will feel empty without 'em.
I think they're totally different from others

1. their songs helped me through my great, great aunts death.

4)they are just amazing people who let their fans know that they have a purpose to life and that its okay to be an individual.

- they are real amazing ppl, i wish everyone was like them..
i sware, its like i regret that i didn't start to listen to their songs and love them from long ago, i mean i just found out about MCR this year ! and already im mad about them...

Although I don't listen to them much anymore, I think their sound is very original and can't be categorized. That's why I was drawn to them in the first place. I love music that sounds like nothing else.
