Because they value their hearing and don't want to be deaf by 30?

The chicks in front of me were jumping in fright and holding their ears. Hehe. I can imagine it was rather loud. I had earplugs in and it was still ridiculously loud.
even Gerard got a fright when he was walking off stage |

I'll be laughing when 20 years from now you've gone deaf. Only you wont hear it. So I'm telling you in advance. |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2188 | December 3rd, 2007 at 10:06am Earplugs? I don't get why everyone thinks it's loud...maybe I'm deaf already! And I was standing in front of the wall of speakers on the side! The fireworks weren't loud either- I must've been screaming louder than the fireworks everytime it came on.
I can't believe how blessed we were with weather. Did you see the thunderstorm this arvo? It would've been chaotic if it was friday.
Now that I've told everyone about the MCR concert at work, I'm getting called emo even more. My boss picks on me!!! ahahah it's all fun & games. |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | December 3rd, 2007 at 10:55am ^^ It's not the fact that it's too loud, quite the contrary. But that level of sound does more damage than you realise. Even playing your music too loud through headphones can damage your ears permanently.
^ They did. It's my favourite song off Revenge, so I wouldn't forget it. You probably remember the 'fuck yourselves' bit at the beginning of it. |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | December 3rd, 2007 at 01:12pm My friend just called me from the Adelaide concert. I heard I Don't Love You. Freaked. Out. That just made me entire night.
Gosh. I miss them.
I love my line friends. I love sharing concert moments like that. So much.
It was kinda bad, cause I was on the phone to my bf at the time who's in NSW for work, then my friend called and I was like 'holycrapmel'scallinggottagobye!'. Haha. I'm a terrible girlfriend. |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 2281 | December 3rd, 2007 at 01:19pm Just as well. They didn't end up lining up for Sydney. They had barrier in Brisbane so settled for dancing up the back at Sydney.
It's odd, cause when tickets went on sale they and several of my other line-friends had planned to line up together for Melbourne, and for one reason or another we all ended up not lining up. It was kinda nice and relaxing, though, not having the line up induced stress. |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 1416 | December 3rd, 2007 at 02:16pm Omg. That was so good. Just wow.
So I finished work at 2:30, and had to do some washing and stuff so I got to the Entertainment Centre about 5:30, where I messaged Renee and Jules, and they told me where they were... doing star jumps. So I went there and we all hugged and it was wonderful!! Then we jogged up and down the line yelling INO!? I'M NOT OKAY DOT NET! INO! I'M NOT OKAY! INO MESSAGE BOARD, in hopes of finding some other INOpians... but we regrettably didn't. I know that's not how you spell that, but I can't really be bothered fixing it.
Anyway, we all lined up with Renee's friends (becuase they were closest to the door, hehehe), and eventually got in... then we sat. And got told off for being excited. Heh. Umm then The Getaway Plan played, I didn't think they were that good, and then Circa Survive... lol. Just lol. Then, after half an hour of people pushing (what's the point, they're not even playing yet!) (by this stage it was just Renee and I, Jules was a few people back) and then MCR played, and it was beautiful.
The end.
(Get it? Because it's an MCR song? Yeah I'm cool.)
But YAY!!!
Ps, I wore earplugs during the support acts, and they are miraculously still in my pocket. Wow.
Pps, I'm sure I left out many important things, like how good MCR were and such, but you all know that
Also, there was a girl near me who was like "I just need to see Gerard, then I'll be happy!"
I lol'd.
And I know I've written a lot |
