Meeting MCR (life changing)

I still can't see why security would hate you so much for taking pictures. Do they have epilepsy? I can imagine some fan taking a picture, and the security guard next to them starts shaking involuntarily.

But taking a picture takes up practically how many seconds?

That's fair enough if there are a lot of people to get through. I know it only takes a few seconds but if everyone wants a picture and there are a couple of hundred people there it can add up if they are limited for time. However fans that have been taking pictures of the band whilst waiting in line have been told to stop and put their cameras away. I think that's quite unfair because they're not anyone up by taking pictures when their waiting their turn.

I've heard that at street team signings were there were only 10-15 fans, people were told no pictures by security. At the UK tour in March cameras were not allowed ‘at the request of the band’. Throughout the shows security were stopping people from taking pictures and some were even trying to take cameras away. I don't see the reason why they've suddenly got this problem with pictures being taken at gigs when they never used to.

Im sure the reason they dont allow too many hugs is because they dont know what people are capable of doing, also.

Its time consuming, and unsafe.

i've never had a problem getting a hug out of MCR.

I think they only don't allow hugs is if they don't have much time like signings.

well frank was fine with hugging us after the concert too.
but he himself said that we couldn't take photos with him because of time.
and i respected that

Well, I havent met him.
I was referring to the people saying they cant hug at meet and greets,
and then stories ive heard where worm says no hugging.

yeah; i can see why they say that...
but really- we're fans. not rapists.

now if there WAS an incident; that's where i'd see the reasoning.

well at this point I'm just worried about crying I dont do it very often...so i'm worried about that and if my friends mom will be okay...she says she will be but thats only if she doesnt get too hurt during the concert>.<

the band doesn't care about it; if anything they're touched.
because it shows how emotional you get because of what their music has done and everything.

and as for your friend's mom.
um; are you on the floor?
MCR moshing doesn't get TOO TOO bad.
you just have to have experience in a pit an know what you're doing.
and stay out of the pits if you can.
just stick to the edges or the front.

i got to meet gerard for the second time on the 24th of july
we gave him a thank you gift for meeting with us the first time and sighning the guitar for our charity For The CHildren. it was so much fun and my cousin got a picture with him

wow that is so amazing. I'm so jealous of you! I can't wait to meet them, they sound so nice!
