Not my site, I just did the graphics. And I'm not responsible for the bad quality of the version that's up. That's just how it ended up, I gave them a good quality one, like this. |

Because in the Banners thread you can only post banners and in the avatars, just post avatars. So could I post a normal picture which I've modified?
Like this?

I just colorized that. It was my first time coloring a B&W pic. How did I do?
The hair is a little messed up though.
for a first time, pretty well. My advice is, don't rely on the color layer. Use different ones for different textures, If you want to darken hair, try selecting the hair, copying it and pasting it in a "multiply" layer and keep duplicating it untill you get the wanted result. Same with lightening colors except instead of multiply use screen. Using different types of layers makes the coloring look more natural and less colorized. Also use a reference picture b/c whites aren't always white as they look. |

It's pretty though! Look at it closely. It seems to be all computer graphics, like video games.
It's amazing. Rock Steady, you made this?

I guess this is as good a place as any to ask... It'll probably been asked before, and I'm sorry, lol.
Where is a good place to get high quality stock photos for free? I need photos to muck around with on Gimp.
I'm in a search for balloons, in particular, to finish a wallpaper, and I can't find anything really great that's free. *is getting annoyed.*

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 10605 | July 17th, 2007 at 05:00am I have some Jasc Paint Shop Pro questions.
1.) For font, the stroke width, I've always been able to use 0.0 as a number, but now for some reason it won't let me and I have to use 1.0 (which is big and gross). Does anyone know how I can fix this?
2.)Can you do rounded edges on paint shop pro? If so how?

Sooo,
I have Gimp, and I need to know if there's anyway to do text on a curve. I've messed around with it for ages, and I've looked for tutorials on it, but I can't seem to figure it out.
I had a program ages ago called Photoline, and it allowed you to make a shape and hook onto that shape with text, and, like, follow the path.
Sorry for the vague description, I haven't used that program in a few years.
I'd love to be able to do that^ with Gimp.

As far as I can discover, you just have like iWarp or Curve bend to use on it. Your text gets rasterized, but ehh.
That Photoline thing sounds rather like what Adobe Illustrator can do, but I don't know that Photoshop can do it, and I'm pretty sure GIMP can't. |

CS2 is more advanced. Commercially, it's used more. It's more complex.
Elements is more basic, and used as a beginner program. |
