Like somebody said, for the love of god, Gerard is 29!! That's not old -at all-. And he and Ray are the eldest in the band! Sheesh. |

That's not because of his age, that;s because he has been screaming out notes since 2002, and screwed up his vocal cords. Every singer in this genre of music has suffered forms of Vocal cord damage, regardless of age. Hell, Sonny Moore is only about 18 or 19 and he had to undergo surgery because of the damage to his vocals. |

Posts: 1339 | April 18th, 2007 at 07:35am Darkened Angel:Maybe a bit, but look at it this way, the guys have practically been touring non-stop, leading to them being tired. If you only had less than 6 hours of sleep, I don't think you'd be hitting many high notes either.
And even if (they could end up like the Stones, it'd be cool as hell too) they do become 'old people' they'll be the coolest ones in the nursing home, that's for sure 
I couldn`t agree more-if you`d been singing full whack for that long,your voice wouldn`t be so hot!
I went to see them in Nottigham and i sang full pelt for the whole gig- my voice took 2 weeks to return properly,god only knows what it would be like after all those gigs....non existant i suspect! |

Frank is only 25.
In FIVE YEARS, after their gap and the start of a new album. Gerard will have JUST turned 35, and Frank will be 30.
In ten years, Frank will be 35. Thats like, three albums away....
Then after that, once Gerard is like, 40.
They will live their lives as stay-at-home dads while Jamia,Alicia and maby Krista ...and bobs girlfriend, and whoever Gerard ends up with can have their turn. |

I've heard them say that they'll only carry on as long as they have something useful to say - who knows how long that will be? Things always evolve and if they take some time off to live 'normal' lives for a bit it'll probably give them new things to think and write about. |
