My Chemical Romance - Strict Age Restriction To Be Enforced - - Promoters issue strong advance warning to under 16s - 26th March 2007 - As stated on advance advertising, a strict age restriction will be enforced for 'My Chemical Romance' sold out concert at the RDS on Sunday 01 April. This age restriction is a condition of sale and clearly stated on all tickets. All persons under 16 must to be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18 years or older). ID will be required to gain entry to the concert with the following only forms of ID being accepted: * Passport * Driving License * Garda ID Card As a one off exception, if a person under 16 cannot be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 years, they will have until 17.00hrs this Friday 30 March to obtain a full ticket refund from their 'point of purchase'. For future events refunds will not be made available. Should any person under 16 not accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years or older turn up on the concert night they will be refused admission without any refund. All fans attending the concert should please there are note strictly 'No Cameras' allowed into the venue as also stated on your ticket. Best Regards Customer Services Team" uh-oh :s

And if you go to the gardai and tell them u need a form of ID they should be able to do something for you if not get an older sister or cousins ID and use that, how the heck am i gonna get a camera in ??

I'm from the North of the border, so it would take forever to contact the Gardai as well. And I don't have any older sisters or cousins. Man I am so screwed. slams head off desk

They are really strict on the age for this concert and are offering refunds to younger people who arnt old enough to get in so you might be lucky or if you go to the concert and hang around outside you might find some younger ones that where chancing there arms and didnt get in they might sell em to you or you can buy em on sum website for like 70 euro a piece

As for camera's......If they find them on anyone maybe they'd just take the batteries cos like they can hardly rob a camera from someone. So take extra batteries maybe? Or hide the camera like on you. And it sounds bad but like in the top of your pants . Or under a hoody cos they're baggy and they'll hardly body search people o_O

I hope they dont refuse entry just because you have a camera I was gonna drive in but then i said nahhh cuz it might be hard to get parking

He went there to see Maiden last year, and it was an over-18 show but nobody got ID'd or had their cameras taken off them. He says there'll probably be around 2-3 thousand people there, so the staff won't have time to ID everyone and they probably just won't bother. He also says he got an email like that before Maiden, so not to worry about it. \\EDIT: 7 days!!!
