Age: 38 Gender: Female Posts: 730 | June 5th, 2007 at 01:26pm We should do an INO meet up at some point for sure...I reckon so anyway...I'm really badly organized and don't want to break everything (!?!) but someone who knows the site should suggest a place and a time to meet...and we can...muster, in all our MCR fan glory! |

Age: 48 Gender: Female Posts: 801 | June 6th, 2007 at 10:26am The dunlop bridge is usually a good place to meet as you can't miss it even if blind drunk! About 6pm when Wolfmother is on? Shame they ain't doing the signing tent as that would of been a good place to all say hi! |

So...watch yourselves out there, look after eachother and never leave a man behind. |

Age: 38 Gender: Male Posts: 57 | June 6th, 2007 at 01:43pm Just as a side note, I doubt very much that any troble is going to break out.
A) After last year, security will be majorly stepped up. Also, Donnington has new owners, so there will be yet moe security because no company wants riots/injuries/deaths on a public record.
B) It's a festival....fun fun fun. Besides, so long as people can accept that everyone has an opinion, there will be no problem.
C) Why do you think KoRn are on at the same time as MCR....if the metal heads had shut up on the forums, we might have been able to see both...nevermind though eh.

Age: 38 Gender: Male Posts: 57 | June 6th, 2007 at 03:42pm Oh don't worry...you can check out the performance on the Download website. Most of the mainstage acts will be shown.
It's the reason that download is different. Interactive. They also have vids on there from last year...so check it out.
Close the curtains, put on you're make-up and invite some friends over for a concert at home.
I know it's not much of a consellation....but at least if you watch it, you'll be able to tell us what we missed when we were getting our heads kicked in in the crowd.

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 1065 | June 9th, 2007 at 08:39am look what i just found on the kerrang website!!!
Got info from last night. MCR had thousands of bottles thrown at them when they went on stage. There were anti-MCR flags. As soon as they got bored, half of the field went into the tent to see Korn which was dangerously over capacity. Lots of injuries because of crushing etc. Apparently the main stage audience was probbaly half what it was when Megadeth were playing. MCR came off early, but apparently completed their set.
and i found this..
marilyn mansons comments towards mcr. ladies n gents plse direct bottles of ur chosen body fluids towards the stage!
found this on nme.com
The New Jersey goth rockers headlined their first outdoor UK festival with a sprightly set that mixed recent album 'The Black Parade' with a host of fan favourites.
The show also saw singer Gerard Way mention to his recent engagement for the first time in public.
Before playing 'I Don't Love You' Way asked the crowd: "Do you want to fuck me? Is that what you said? That seat's already taken!"
The band also gave shout outs to Zico Chain and Buckcherry before playing 'The Sharpest Lives'.
"The next song we're going to play is about violence," Way explained before playing forthcoming single 'Teenagers'.
"Sometimes you feel like you don't fit in," he said. "You get desperate, you get upset. The one thing you don't do is try to solve your problems with fucking violence!"
My Chemical Romance played:
'Dead!'
'This Is How I Disappear'
'I'm Not Okay, I Promise'
'The Sharpest Lives'
'Welcome To The Black Parade'
'I Don't Love You'
'Give 'Em Hell Kid'
'House Of Wolves'
'Teenagers'
'You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison'
'Disenchanted'
'Mama'
"Famous Last Words'
'Cancer'
'Helena'
awwww poor mcr!
they really really do not deserve this! !!!!
however in more interesting news!

Well, it was quite early on, I can't quite remember which song.
But Frank, was totally hyper, bit like he was in the revenge tour. He just jumped
around and over to Gerard, whilst Gerard was in the middle of singing.
. . .
TONGUES.
