I la la looooove dresses. ^^,
I would wear dresses all year round if I could. XD
I love anything patterened. Even if it doesn't match, I'll wear them.
Oh, and total vintage stuff. Like my formal dress was second-hand vintage. But I loved it. =D |

They specialise in metal/punk/emo and there's lots of CDs, posters, shirts etc. plus they've got a space for bands to play live
I got a MCR tee from there yesterday ^_^

I don't know if everyone in Sydney knows this already, but Pitt St is the home of bargain record shops (& I only discovered today by accident). I'm gonna stop getting ripped off by HMV etc if I want to get new or 2nd hand CD's in good condition...they've got pretty update things- I found New found Glory, The Used, Thursday, The Scare etc etc ...amongst some all time classics |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 4393 | July 6th, 2007 at 10:37am I know everybody here is like "blah blah supre is for sluts, go home" and everything, but you know how they have those "I (L) MY BOYFRIEND" shirts? Is there "I (L) MY GIRLFRIEND" ones too? Coz I looked in there, but could only see the boyfriend ones. But I've seen people wearing the girlfriend ones. Blah, I really want it. Not that I'm bi/lesbian, just so I can freak my mum out. =] |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 1078 | July 7th, 2007 at 04:54am i find that the clothes vary in supre depending on the suburb/town theyre in. like the city supre isnt as trashy as the one in parra. and the castle towers supre has kind of a scene-ish element to it. idk if thats just me or what hmm.
i want to get a shirt that says i love your boyfriend just so i sound trashy n slutty rofl thats not good is it? |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 19598 | July 9th, 2007 at 03:57am So, I'm going to Melbourne on Thursday, and I was wondering if you lovely people could recommend me some really awesome vintage shops there?
Actually, even just really unique shops in general. Melbourne has a lot of stuff Adelaide doesn't have, I just don't know where to look for it! |

oh yeah you did tell me ages ago about the "M" guy...I thought that was another shop.
hey jules I think Brunswick St is pretty good for what you're after- I'm heading there a week after you. And I found Bridge St- there's a website for it. St Kilda is my other destination- Acland St has famous cake shops, indie music & op shops. I'm not a melbourner but I did some research |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 1274 | July 9th, 2007 at 08:17am yeh, Brunswick Street, and Bridge Road are where its at. Smith street in Collingwood is pretty damn awesome too. Also Retrostar, on Swanston street, next to subway, and i think theres OTC on flinders street. opposite the station and then walk away from fed sq, and theres some stairs leading down to it.
And theres American Rag in Southgate (near the arts centre) which is opposite my beloved Exentrix. |
