I will have to agree with you.
The thought that first hit me was, "Is it me, or are the guys getting poorer?".
Since WTTBP, their vids have been getting... less complicated. Less special affects, less this, less that. You get what I mean.
The video was nothing as I had thought.
I mean, I thought I was disappointed with Famous Last Words, but in the end, I liked it.
Don't know if I can say the same for IDLY.

Hey cool you see it too. I've heard from other people that they have also seen the similarities to some pumpkins' vids.
Honestly, I think they could have been a litlte bit more original with the ideas for the video, so that you wouldn't get the feeling you've already seen this somewhere before

Well, I'm pretty sure that $1400 to Frank is like pocket change to most people. I loved the smashing. The whole video feels so FRAGILE, like their relationship was so delicate (like they way they barely touch each other) that it could shatter at any moment. Everything hanging by a thread. And when it does shatter, it's huge, it bursts apart, pieces go flying everywhere, they seem almost hollow when they collapse into nothing.

The video was freaking beautiful. I cried my eyes out. Then jumped because my brother came up behind me and randomly asked "Is that a human being?" in regards to the girl. Gerard was beautiful but I wish they did closeups of the other band members.
