This video is epic. This has to be my favourite after the Ghost Of You. The whole black and white thing is timeless, and since it's the theme in my bedroom, I'm gonna see if I can somehow get the atrwork/imagery/screencaps up on my wall somehow. Like, paint it.
The whole members falling out of the sky was just a bit random, though. At first, I wasn't sure who they were and then I saw Bob and I was all 'WTF?'.
The girl is large-eyed, yes, but very pretty. The whole ying and yang image is perfected and somehow not as cheesy as I expected it to be, and it portrays how love goes beyond the boundaries of differences, or say, labels. Their love is beautiful in its complexity and sorrow.
So yes, that's a definite thumbs up from me. |

Posts: 1 | March 8th, 2007 at 11:59am When I heard this was going to be their new single I was like erm that's different. I was expecting The End/Dead (cos its so damn popular) but I think it's time that MCR show a soft side.
They are always coming off this as "dark" and they arent always like that. I think they have reach that point where they can be cheesy and fans will love them regardless.
I do like the this video. Its bittersweet and beautiful in its own way. |
