Helena. Big shock, eh?
Funny thing is...my brother uploaded the song to our computer, and when I was bored I put it on my iPod because I needed more songs...I had no idea who the band was or what the name of the song was; my brother had it uploaded as 'So Long and Goodnight' under an untitled band's name. (My brother despises MCR, by the way, which just makes it weirder...) Then a friend turned me on to MCR and I about spazzed when I recognized the song. :p |

Btw, that song rox my sox..
But on the radio they use to play welcome to the black parade, and i did like it, but i had absolutley no idea what the song was called or who sang it, i just liked it a lot.
Then my friend taught me how to play it on the piano (still not knowing who sang it or what it was called)...
Then I got the album & figured it out... |

It was the first song I heard from them, and I was in love with it.
And Helena...I saw the video on tv and was like "Hey! It's My Chemical Romance!" and I loved that song. Still do.
The Ghost Of You took me a little longer to love.
Then when I got revenge, it was the only CD I wanted to listen to. |

it actually was the first song that i ever heard that wasnt on one of the hit radio stations that's mixed with pop and rap
so i guess if it wasnt for them i would more than likely be a COMPLETELY different person
[i used to listen to rap now i hate it] |

Age: 31 Gender: Male Posts: 3489 | August 26th, 2007 at 02:05pm helena i think. it was on a rock chart on the hits and i was recording the songs i liked, that came on ands i stopped because i didnt know em and wasnt really into it. then i saw Im not okay on tv a few weeks later and thought, hey thats catchy. but it was a year until i bought the album. and that was the first album i ever listened to all the way thru as soon as i got it, and the first album where i loved every track. still do. the black parade was actually out when i got Revenge. but then i got black parade, and after that, bullets.
