Age: 32 Gender: - Posts: 13762 | October 30th, 2008 at 09:51pm I love Halloween but it's gotten slightly boring for me over the years. Hocus Pocus = love. I haven't seen it in ages.
We aren't allowed to dress up at school because it causes a "distraction". wtf.
I'm going half dressed up anyways. I'm just gonna dress like normal but with a tutu and a bit of make up on.
The school administration can kiss my ass because they can't tell me anything because I'm not actually dressed up as anything. Plus I don't think it's fair that two girls out of the whole school can dress like it's Halloween everyday and they won't let the rest of us dress up for one day of the year. |

There's a Battle Of The Bands on in the town later, but it's gonna be shite so I think I'll give it a miss and curl up with some horror movies. The Exorcist is on TCM later so that's all set ^^ |

Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 2123 | October 31st, 2008 at 06:42pm Okay so I'm seventeen years old and my mom thinks that I'm to old to trick-or-treat. I personally don't think I am but that could be just me. The thing is that my friends who are 19+ are still going. My moms big argument is that many adults don't like giving candy to teenagers.
I understand where she's coming from but at the same time shouldn't Halloween be fun for everyone and not just kids? Trick-or-Treating is better then me going out to a party or staying home doing absolutely nothing.
I think when you're old enough to drink [legally] then you're to old to trick-or-treat.
What do you think? |

Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 23925 | October 31st, 2008 at 06:45pm i think it's fine for teenagers to trick or treat.
someone actually said to us that we're nicer because we don't take handfulls of sweets. xD
and i don't think adults really mind. as long as you're not rude or throw eggs and flour at their house. |

Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 2123 | October 31st, 2008 at 06:51pm Thats exactly what I was arguing with her over.
Yeah some teens egg/flour houses but a lot of the time I just want to be a kid. I've had to grow up to fast and I'm tired of holding adult responsibilities so what would it hurt to go have fun for a night and get free candy? |
