My parents are refusing to take me (so far) because there may not be anyone in the household to watch my little brother if my mom has to work that day and apparently it's too early to see a band after you've seen them seven months ago on a festival tour. =\
I'm still hoping I can convince my dad that tickets would mean THE WORLD to me and if we were to go I would be the happiest girl on the face of the planet.

I mean, I have enough money to pay for both of our tickets, so my mom can't pull the, "Oh, we're so broke we can't afford it!" trick this time.
And no worries, Paradox, you're not the only Michigander on this thread. ;]
I was wondering if you guys had any tactics I could use to get them to see my way? xD

basically what i've been doing is listing all the reasons that they should ever possibly let me go like: its their last tour till next year, Billy Talent will also be there, its a small venue so it won't be too nuts.. just random stuff that they'd want to hear... plus the tix aren't that expensive anyways, so if possible you could offer to pay for them yourself.
idk that's the best I could come up with. |
