Does the video clip remind anyone of Maureen's protest scene in Rent?

Cool theme. I'm tempted to go back to my Sally Jupiter theme, username and all.

Just watched the whole video and I'm head over heels in love with it. The energy was just so high in it. Plus, I think the video did a good job of highlighting certain personality traits of MCR's live show. (Does that make sense?) I mean Frank spitting is priceless. I loved him sticking his tongue out at the end of the vid. So Frank. YAY!

As for the song itself, it keeps in line with the “fast and loose” ethos MCR have adopted for their still-in-the-works new album, one that Way says is going to shock a lot of longtime fans.

i kinda like the new my chem image.the punk rock dudes =D.

Okay. I'm going to be the unpopular one here and say I wasn't as excited about it as everyone else seems to be. There's a handful of Watchmen nods, like the Rorshach-inspired backdrop and the happy face on the drum, yet the video itself is one big riot, with no other real ties to the film. It reeks of Zack Snyder, which in and of itself isn't bad, I adore him, *but*; the whole slow-frame deal is getting over-used; did he go to the John Woo Summer Camp for Film Directors?

I don't know. I guess I was expecting it to be more in line with the film and kept waiting for something -- *any*thing -- to happen that would have placed it in that world. I've been a huge fan of Watchmen since I was maybe 15 or so, and have been so excited about this project since it was announced, so maybe I have higher hopes than I should.

I do like the song very much, and I think I would have been happier with the video had it tied in to the film a little more.

Edited after third viewing.

Not enough Frank, but love the tongue.
Ray, love to watch that man play, and Bob, "why is someone always knocking over my kit" always get the shit knocked out of them.
I like their version, because it reminds me of the MC5 and other punk bands from the early days.
I love Snyder, but I agree I was waiting for something more.
And was Shec in the vid?

I love this band. They are my absolute favorite, yes Tabs - more than FOB and more than bands I grew up with. As Tim says - MCR is liking finding the perfect flavor of ice cream that has every ingrediant that you love. If the new cd sounds like this, I will buy copies for everyone I know.
