Okay. I'm going to be the unpopular one here and say I wasn't as excited about it as everyone else seems to be. There's a handful of Watchmen nods, like the Rorshach-inspired backdrop and the happy face on the drum, yet the video itself is one big riot, with no other real ties to the film. It reeks of Zach Snyder, which in and of itself isn't bad, I adore him, *but*; the whole slow-frame deal is getting over-used; did he go to the John Woo Summer Camp for Film Directors?

I don't know. I guess I was expecting it to be more in line with the film and kept waiting for something -- *any*thing -- to happen that would have placed it in that world. I've been a huge fan of Watchmen since I was maybe 15 or so, and have been so excited about this project since it was announced, so maybe I have higher hopes than I should.

I do like the song very much, and I think I would have been happier with the video had it tied in to the film a little more.

Hey Tabs!

I thought about the fact that a lot of huge Watchmen fans would be disappointed with the video as I didn't see much tie-in with the movie. I almost feel like that Teenagers should have been more like this. However, I think cause I don't have any background with the Watchmen is why I love the aesthetic so much.

Hell, maybe I'm just excited to have something new.

it'll probably show up on youtube eventually.
i did love it i have to say, though it reminded me a bit of teenagers...not that that's bad.
really like the 'coloring' i guess you'd say...and i love that they're in red and black again, it suits them well.

my sister and i were watching it and when bob and ray got knocked down we're both like "aw, no!" and as the doors slam shut on the car with them inside at the end it's all quiet and we're both like FAIL. heh. *watches again*

Gerard has never looked better, IMO, and I love Bob's hair!
I wish it there was a bit more of Frank and Mikey in it, though.
