Posts: 71107 | May 12th, 2015 at 12:13am It's definitely disheartening to know that I can have a well thought out opinion on something, where I approach both sides of the argument, and try my damnedest to come to a reasonable conclusion, and I can have all my reasons listed out point by point, while continuing to consider both sides.... but be so easily shot down and ignored because I don't 100% agree with someone, and so in their eyes, I 100% disagree.
it's like, calling someone closed-minded, or immature, or whatever, because of those above reasons, is demonstrating those exact qualities. I still don't understand how anyone can blindly believe something, without putting any thought into it, or analyzing it, and just deciding that anyone who disagrees with them is the immature one.
I know I can't change this person's mind, but hopefully time will make a difference. |
