Before then, I would talk and Bullets and Revenge and all I'd get is blank faces. Then I would show them pics of them and hteyd go "Oh, they are scary" then ask questions about them. Once I told them the truth like "No they arnt gay people just think that" and stuff, they get the idea.
But of course, I cant explain mcr to the WHOLE school so yeh, there are people who are ignorant and think stupig things about MCR.
But ever since TBP, people at my school have started their own opinion on them. Its mainly good things, because I told them that the whole 'emo' and 'gay' thing is just a sterotype.
There are people that like them, but only konw their radio release singles. But theres only a few die hard fans at my school.
Then theres the odd jerks that sterotype them.
As far as teachers go, I don't know. They either havnt heard of them. Or they have and think they are Emo. OR, they just think they are some random band (like my english teacher said when I said that I can't do my homework because I was going to see MCR).
English teachers tend to be the best about it. |
