The Rumor Awake and Unafraid Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 11966	April 11th, 2009 at 10:47am I'll list them in the order I got them: #1 & 2: first lobes (were stretched up to 10mm/00g but I took them out a few weeks and I'm going to put standard earrings in again tomorrow). #3 & 4: second lobes. #5, 6 & 7: third lobes and cartilage on my left ear. #8: top belly button. #9: right nostril. #10: septum (retired). #11: vertical labret (center lip). #12 & 13: cheek piercings (one is retired; my right one got really infected so I had to take it out). #14: lip (right side). #15: bottom belly button. As you can probably tell, my favourites are facial piercings but I really want to expand on my ear piercings as well. I've also been considering surface piercings for a long time but I'm not sure about them because of the risks of scarring. - - - The beauty of Photoshop. Better with or without? I'm trying to decide if I want a monroe piercing. x]

Damned After All Age: 35 Gender: - Posts: 105653	September 9th, 2009 at 05:45pm okay so i have the right side of my lip pierced. but i took the stud thingy out like two weeks ago since i got an infection and didn't want to deal with it.. i barely put it back on last night but it's like sore. is it normal for it to do that since it wasn't in for so long? and should i use the anti-bacterial stuff like i did when it was freshly pierced?

Crash Queen Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 32114	September 9th, 2009 at 06:28pm ^ it's normal for piercing to be sore, but if you got an infection and just left it this could be making it sore as well. and yes you should be using the anti-bacterial spray/gel, or whatever you got, for two reasons, it's been out for two weeks, and it was infected. if it doesn't stop hurting and you are worried you should go get it looked at by the piercer.

Damned After All Age: 35 Gender: - Posts: 105653	September 9th, 2009 at 09:36pm i would honestly say not to take it out right now since it's so fresh. you should wait at least a few months to let it semi-heal, but be sure to move it around to make sure it won't like stick. my friend uses the stud that has like a mini curve to it.

Buffy Summers Always Born a Crime Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 5335	September 9th, 2009 at 11:56pm This weekend I'm going to get either my lip or nose pierced for my 21st birthday and I honestly can't decide which to get. If I get the nose then I'd just want a small silver stud. If I get the lip then I'd want a stud on the bottom right side. I've asked all of my friends and they're opinions are pretty much split down the middle so I really need help deciding which one I should get. Any advice? I'm willing to take any and all suggestions based on pain, risk and just which one you think would look better on me in general. Oh, and I only have my ear lobes and one upper ear cartilage piercing so far so I'm kind of new to this whole thing if that helps at all. Here's a picture of me

IceHog69 Bulletproof Heart Age: 31 Gender: - Posts: 25232	September 10th, 2009 at 05:55am Buffy Summers: I'd go for nose. If you later decide you don't want it, it's very easy to hide. Plus, with lip piercings there is only so much you can do. Hoop, or stud, you can't really do 'delicate'. If you ever needed/wanted to look lady-like (I'm not saying you don't look lady-like) a lip piercing doesn't really fit, but you can easily wear a little dainty nose stud. Also, with mouth piercings there is always the risk of fucking your gums up eventually. The worst that can happen with a nose ring is you sneeze the back out if it isn't sorted properly (as my mom did when she changed it the first time)
