There is nothing substansial to suggest that eliminating pornography would decrease the number of sex related crimes. Porn is a safe, hygenic, and relatively easy to obtain medium to help people relieve sexual tension. Nothing more. Pornography is a tool, and is neither good nor bad. It simply exists to serve a purpose. There is no reason why it should be banned, outlawed, made illegal, or treated as an immoral thing to watch/look at. What it is, is nothing to be concerned with. What people do with it, is their own business and nothing more than it was designed for. |

It is merely a medium that is an option for people who do not share the same beliefs or ideals that you do. It's all about choice. It is there for you if you are interested or need it, and you don't have to take it if you don't want to. However, I think that saying it is "wrong" is fairly narrow minded, as wrong means so many things to so many different people, it's like saying that there is a type of fish that lives in the ocean. It leaves too many doors open to missinterpretation. |
