I swear like a sailor. But not here. The Discussion Board is a place for honest, serious discussions about serious topics, and a place where profanity is NOT welcome. Profanity leads to arguments and spam, and personal attacks. That is why it is not allowed. ------ Pornography is a safe, clean, relatively easy to obtain medium, which helps people get through sexual frustration, spices up relationships and provides entertainment value. The medium itself is not to blame in the cases of negativity, it is only a tool. The people who misuse it are the ones who make pornography out to be a "bad" thing.

Yes it is ok to say "effin", and to say thing like damn, frick, shoot. Mainly, the reason to not allow profanity is to keep things civil and on track. Profanity kind of derails the topic, and not to mention how difficult it is to find the point beneath the refuse when swears are all through an argument. ------- I can understand the offensive nature of porn; after all, sex is supposed to be a private act between two people who care strongly for each other. Also, I can see how it can be constued as degrading, when it is seen as a person using their body in a sacred act to get money. These are both perfectly logical, reasonable arguments. To some. To others, sex is as natural as breathing, and so porn is not offensive to them. They believe that it is part of the world we live in, part of our lives, and a goodly chunk of growing up. That is why I say choice is a blessing. It is not forced on you, but you can find it if you want it.

Nothing in this world is free, and if they make sure to show shortened videos on the web, the people viewing it may be interested enough to buy a hard copy or give up their credit card info. The only thing I find to be bad about pornography is the easy access to it that children. But if the parents took time to watch their children and find out what they are doing, that shouldn't be a big deal.

I mean Im not exactly "for" porn, but honestly it's not causing any real harm to anyone. It's another form of (somewhat odd I believe) entertainment. Then again on the other hand I don't really aprove of the whole thing..........Im undecided. I mean, sure, a lot of the magazine porn people are doing to show the beauty of the human body, but when it comes to internet porn, a lot of people DON'T want to do it.

I just don't find it interesting at the least. How can somebody be forced into porn? If you are referring it to rape, than that is a whole different ballgame. Rape is rape and porn is porn. The way i see it, if they want to "eff" on film, so be it.

Porn is fine IF controlled properly and regulated to ensure it doesnt break the moral standards we live by.

I don't think there's anything wrong with porn. I don't think there's anything wrong with the people who act in porn. I can't say I feel any sort of pity for them or feel bad for watching it because of their situation (whatever that may be), as they know what they're doing & it's their conscious decision.
