Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 304 | April 14th, 2008 at 02:44pm When the Three Cheers album came out I was absolutely in awe with them.
I had I MEGA obsession that wasn't quite fan-girly (GOD FORBID) but pretty dmn close.
The, Tbh, I think it was TBP that put me off a bit after, don't get me wrong It honestely got me through hard times but after I while it just got old.
For a while I found new favorite bands and moved away from MCR until they were but a distant memory...Then one day a couple months ago I was listening to my itunes on random and Heaven Help us came on and my God, All the emotions came flooding back and I remembered why I loved them.
..And it's stayed that way since.
I mean I don't know if It will always be that way, infact one day they might not even be a band but they have inspired me so much I couldn't even tell you and When I saw them live it blew me away, I'll take that memory to the grave. |

Age: 43 Gender: Female Posts: 5099 | April 14th, 2008 at 03:49pm I've answered this question before, but since this thread apparently refuses to die, I am going to do so again:
No offense to the author, but seriously, that is a retarded question. INO is one of the top MCR fansites globally. We do get trolls, but they don't count. There have been a few "older fans" who felt a need to grumble in here for a bit about how much the band has "changed" and how over them they are - we encouraged said folks to consider posting at sites that DO make them happy (some argued that they have friends here - we reminded them that there are four top IM programs with which they could continue their communications.)
For the most part, if you post here regularly, it's a given that you love the band. I mean, duh... |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 32541 | April 15th, 2008 at 02:33am jack harkness.:I still love them. A lot. I have no idea why. Sometimes I get really bored of them and don't listen to them for awhile. And then I go back and realize all over again why I liked them in the first place.
I'll probably never dislike them. I'm really looking forward to the new album though. Some fresh material would be good for sure.
exactly the same here =)

I went through a stage where I didn't like My Chemical Romance as much but now I've realised that I do really love them and think they are an inspirational band.
If anything, they just remind me of hanging out listening to them which, in itself, makes me happy.
