Gabriel said some really cool things in that interview.
I can't wait to get my hands on it this week...american comics are so expensive but it's worth it. The little flying characters from the pages of the samples in that interview are so cute.
it's been half a year since i read a comic...this will a nice welcome back |

yes, Gerard is the master of the wicket script. Gabriel Ba & twin Fabio Moon & other artists I believe [of whom I don't have names for offhand...] are the illustrators for TUA. check out more info on Gabriel and the making of TUA on Gabriel's myspace
Gabriel Ba is the only illustrator. Though if anyone picked up the Free Comic Book Day Umbrella Academy comic, James Jean drew the front cover of that. Gabriels brother doesnt draw in the comic. |

Well, UA does anyway. Some pencillers do their own inks at times, depending on deadlines and how involved they want to/can be. |

The story is incredibly original, the art is fascinating and beautiful, and I can't wait to get the second issue in the series.
The Apocolypse Suite is a six-edition series, as it says on it.
In a nutshell, it's an incredible edition to Dark Horse Comics. |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 1117 | September 19th, 2007 at 11:44pm OMG I love it. O____O The story is great so far, and Sir Reginald's description of the children in the begining had me cracking up. Such dark humor, I look forward to whatever Gerard writes next.
*can not wait until October 17 for the next issue*
>_> I hate how short American comics are. Only 22 pages in each issue. I'm used to around 200 pages in a manga book. |

Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 2404 | September 19th, 2007 at 11:48pm ^ I was surprised by the shortness of it too.
I was afraid that I would get in trouble for reading it in school because of the graphic detail in the beginning. Luckily, I didn't. |
