Though I didn't see them this time round because I don't think much of their new album (even though I've only heard the singles, and they have grown on me...) |

The Getaway Plan's promo gig was only 30mins long. We waited 2 hours & realised the Virgin Megastore had only set up a corner for the gig & the stage was only big enough for the drums. Although...I got my album signed  |

Posts: 13483 | June 8th, 2008 at 08:49am So, IKTPQ was pretty good MERCH WAS CHEEAAAPPPP I got two BMTH shirts XD a white one with a wolf and a black one with an eagle. I personally think they could do better but who am I to complain with the price.
Fuck the venue was really shit, no barrier and there was a step then it was the stage,
all the people at the front had to KNEEL in order not to fall on the stage and put up with the constant digging into our legs..but anyway
The Ghost Inside did a good set, the lead singer kept touching me though.
The Red Shore were fantastic =D I didn't know any songs but its encouraged me to listen to them XD
Bring Me The Horizon were fantassttiiiiiccccc. Although due to my height, Oli's crotch was in my face like 90% of the time ;____; I also have massive bruises all over my legs 
He was sick so he didn't come out after the show and one of Jaimee's friends fell over in the pit and her face got trod on D: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I left to the "lounge" in the venue (This place is like a night club...its shiiiittttttttttt) and watched IKTPQ from there. I've got photos but you'll have to wait till tomorrow when I'm home  |

Posts: 17382 | June 8th, 2008 at 11:18pm Bring me the Horizon were so good. like seriously, as soon as their set finished [and after i'd helped my unconcious friend to sit down] i was already thinking, wow i wonder when they're coming next. they sounded so good and oli [i'm not gonna lie i'm a teenie for that fine piece of man meat] was so goddamn good looking he kept looking at me XD cause i'm like tiny, so he was probably who the hell let a 10 year old into the pit. and he was saying *in his adorable little accent* how he didn't want anyone to die, and i was getting slaughtered and i yelled out, "Oh really now?" and he smiled at me XD
also after the show some irish guy who was drunk kindly informed us, "i pissed me pants!" i was like O_o cool? XD
All in all i can't wait for bmth to come back. |

I was SO pissed off.
Even more so after seeing them yesterday and being completely blown away!
Also, I have come to realise that The Getaway Plan are so overrated.
They haven't changed their setlist AT ALL since the Kisschasy tour, where they played the exact same thing every show.
And their fans = EPIC FAIL.
I wanted to slap 90% of them for a) being clones, and b) fucking squealing because the guitar player was setting things up.
Not to mention they were just up themselves fucks who were trying to get to the front with no regard for anybody else. People were falling over, and nobody was helping them up, I felt like pointing out to them that they're really not that great just because they like a band that is obviously flavour of the month in the scene world.
And then, when they were doing their soundcheck, they were doing it over the top of the band already playing at the time, which I thought was extremely rude. Seriously, it was pissing me off SO MUCH, because Children Collide were on at the time, and I love them.
I would have been so angry if I were them.
But other than that, it was an awesome day.
I ended up meeting a hell of a lot of bands, which was awesome ;D
Also, there's a new Gyroscope & Shihad tour that is going basically everywhere.
I was so fucking excited when I heard about that, because they're going to Penrith,
and then I realised it's on the same night as Panic.
I was so upset. Seriously, I would absolutely LOVE to go to that. D:

Well, they had to, because the stages were right next to each other,
but all the other bands managed to do it without basically drowning out the band that was playing at the time.
I think Trial Kennedy may have been a little loud to begin with, but then they realised and it was all good.
But TGP were being really loud continually through Children Collide's set.
Seriously, they would be so pissed off if anybody did that to them, so I don't get why they would do that to another band.
