Day Old Hate Thinking Happy Thoughts Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 423	July 9th, 2008 at 05:47pm DJ RYAN ROSS: I have only two words: Tank Girl >.< BLASPHEMY!!! That movie is awesome! ...Granted, it's not at all like the graphic novels. Actually, it's pretty much a kick square in the nuts of the GNs. But I love it. As well as the GNs (which I read before seeing the movie.) I don't care for the idea of a TUA movie. I agree with The Rumor: I think that it's too young, and I'd like to know more about the characters before I see a movie.

Haven't read the comic book though, that's probably why XD I think it'd be great if TUA was made into an animated movie. Somehow I don't think live-action would do it justice. =/ I'm not sure Gee would let them do it though, unless he had like a MAJOR part in making it, with how he talks about giving up the rights to stuff... But if they do get his permission and make it, I pray it's good. I PRAY it does the comic justice. <3

And the movie was FUN, dammit! And I was thinking that an animated movie would be better too, I don't know. There's a LOT of comic movies coming out these days, all live action. It'd be cool to see an animated movie in Gee's style.

I've already picked out several actors that I think would be excellent as the characters. x) EDIT: actually, now that I think of it, Christina Ricci doesn't seem.. exactly right as the rumor. she seems more like vanya, in a way. :shrug:

More backstory needs written, more character developments need to be made. I fear that the movie would suck if production began at this time.

Hmm.. goes and re-reads comics Has anybody here gotten the the issue that was given out on Free Comic Book Day? I'm curious, and call me stupid, but is it worth $13.99 on Amazon? One dude is selling it for that price, and I need to know if it's worth it or if I can get it cheaper someplace else.

Buy the paperback, I think that's got it in there, along with all the other issues, and it might be cheaper.

'Cause last time, I ended up buying the book and not separate comics. Because I was unaware he had written a comic. They need to advertise it more. -__-;;
