I decided to take some pictures today, I only started using a DSLR over the winter, so I'm unsure of my abilities.

Feedback would be very helpful, criticism is good for me.
Oh, and there are a couple more pictures on my flickr, but majority of them are posted here. |

Haven't posted here in a while! I have a couple new shots..meh.
I've been out and about with my camera, and I'm working on a big photography
project with a 400mm camera from '98, so I'll get those up once they're developed :D
But any comments on these would be great. (: |

I looked at your new photos on flickr, I like the Pastels alot (:
thanks so much ^_^ lol yeah since i took that photo while i was walking through Pike Place, i sort of just hit the shutter and let the camera choose which part of the bouquet it wanted to focus on... which left me with a very out-of-focus foreground, but i still very much liked the shot (:
The Master.:
all three of those are gorgeousss. i couldn't even begin to pick a favorite.

I could, but my mother is really nervous about buying online.
Oh, and a question! Do you think it would be okay if I bought a 50mm lens without AF-S. (I do plan on buying a body with built in, in the future) Or should I just cough up more money for one with AF-S?
Mine isn't AF-S. Granted, that means before I could do any significant paid work I had to spend $1200 on a new camera body setup, so it's your call. If you're using it for anything other than still life, just get the AF-S. |

Okay, thanks! With that said, you can use a AF-S with a body that has auto focus right, just have to switch it off? |
