I don't think there's anything wrong with adults watching porn. Its better then going to a strip club and watch naked girls dance in front of you.
and I have a lot of respect for porn stars.

Yeah yeah, advertising sucks, I wholeheartedly agree with you on that. But there's a big difference between a half naked chick on a billboard and a porno movie or picture or whatever. As for the first, it's disturbing, but as for the latter, as long as no one's harmed in the process, it's none of your business what people do in their homes on their free time.

I don't think there is anything wrong with things like if your in a music store, and looking for a poster, and instead, on the shelve, you see a half naken person, because y'know, its still part of the store. You make not want to look at it, but then just look at something else. |

but of course, not everyone abides by that. Lots of teenagers consume porn, and not just teenage boys. |

It seems that it's used for shock value and making a quick buck a lot, but it's still considered dirty and perverted and public nudity is a big deal. There's nothing inherently wrong with sex or the human figure, and maybe if the country as a whole realized that then maybe using sex for "shocking" advertising would lose its power.

I disagree. I don't come from the US [I'm from Australia], but I reckon the sex industries in some European countries could be greater than in the U.S.
From my point of view, even though the U.S has a large sex industry, I feel that the U.S is quite conservative when it comes to sex. -shrug-

Personally, I couldn't disagree more. I think it's quite healthy to watch porn. Obviously, porn addiction is not healthy, but if you consume it once in a while it isn't detrimental to your mental health at all. |
