That's just replacing one hierarchical system with another, isn't it? Most civilisations are constructed from a hierarchy of wealth/merit, etc. so to reform it into a system in which the most intelligent are the ruling class isn't anarchy, it's really just a world run by an intellectual elite. I suppose, if anyone should be in charge, it should be intelligent people, but how do you create that intelligence? It will probably become the usual system of the families with the most money can give their children the best education. |

I didn't mean that the most intelligent would rule the unintelligent, but that if a small group of very intelligent anarchists wanted to live on their own without a government, things might work out for them (ie they wouldn't end up killing each other). But on a larger scale, I don't think anarchy could work. |

You don't want people controling you, but you'd like to control others with thinking highly of you "Anarchisim"  I believe in government. I may not always agree but there are organized ways of getting the job done than just destroying things and hurting others. Try and solve your problems with words for once. Because, I personally believe that if most people tried to solve there problems with words than maybe the government would be better and you would have nothing to rebel against and the world would be peaceful.
Or what that not give you anarchists anything to complain about?

I mean, when you think of communism, it seems like it would be a good thing-everyone treated equally and all that jazz. But it gets in the wrong hands, and then it gets OUT of hand, and become a really bad thing. So I think anarchy is kinda like that. |
