Hmm...not sure if this is worthy of its own thread, but Gerard hosts an episode of Fresh Ink and talks about comics he loves here

Didn't know where to post it. If it is thread worthy of its own thread, feel free to make it.

Just read issue 3
Number 5s back story is very ... weird, and I loved the scene when Seance went to Heaven. God reminded me instantly of Bob Dylan... but thats just me.

Finally got my hands on issue 3. I love Number 5 so much, I am so happy to get more information on his back story. Seance getting rejected from heaven was rather a funny moment, and I liked the fact that it was in black and white.

Number 5 is my favourite character hands down, it probably shows how messed up I am, but I find him fascinating. Smile

Seance going to heaven brought to mind Hellblazer, which got me thinking about David Lloyd and a conversation we'd had about those kinds of scenes, which made me laugh more than I probably would have otherwise.

Oh Gosh! I read issue 4 and think I died, I can't wait for issue 5! I just flew through it, pure entertainment. Number 00.05 is still my favourite character by far, I don't know why but I just adore him. And Seance it really growing on me as well, particularly after the interaction with Hazel and Cha Cha. I'd really like to read the Umbrella Academy someday.
I don't have access to a comic store, though, which is a bummer.

Where, may I ask? I can't find them anywhere except the general sites like Amazon.com and the like.

What's wrong with Amazon?
& yeah, I'd have to repeat, where are you? I know various sites but a lot of them are country-related.

Nothing's "wrong" with Amazon, it's just that my mom doesn't have a credit card so we can't exactly order much online. I suppose I could ask for a giftcard for Amazon, but that would have to wait a while.
I'm in the U.S.

Oh right, okay.
Yeah, if you get PayPal you can buy on eBay and I think you only need a bank account for PayPal but don't hold me to that.

Oh, dang it.
You could look around for somewhere to buy it buy postal order, if you really want it. Or order it from a comic shop that you can visit occasionally.

Comic stores aren't the only place you can buy them... Hot Topic sometimes sells them. Any typical bookstore should have them, I know Barnes and Noble does/did.
