Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 2792 | April 13th, 2007 at 06:58am Both really.
I like a mix of stuff like It's Not A Fashion Statement and then stuff like Kill All Your Friends or Cancer.
I'm wierd for a kid my age, the MCR fans here all like either one or the other, but everyone else likes light poppy stuff.

Age: 33 Gender: Male Posts: 306 | April 13th, 2007 at 11:51am Okay, I must say that I like them both a whole lot obviously...But I think they looked better and had more meaningful songs with the older way they were... I dunno though, so long as it's them doing what they do best I'll enjoy it. |
sweet dreams. Salute You in Your Grave
Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 2183 | April 24th, 2007 at 11:38pm I don't think there's really an "old" and "new" look, they're still the same band. Their CD's are all very different and unique, but you can still here the distinctive MCR taste in all of them. Each has its own twists and differences, but I wouldn't say that makes them a whole new band every time they change up the style a little. I would support them with whatever they did...and everything they've done so far is magnificent. |

I agree, I mean they may have changed their image and their sound, but they have matured. I wouldnt like it if they stayed the same.
They are still staying true to the music, thats all that matters.

Previously Perfect. Jazz Hands
Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 288 | April 25th, 2007 at 01:44am well i fell in love with mcr when i first heard wttbp on the radio.
i was in the car with mi family, it came on and i instantly fell in love.
now that im more of a fan, with their cd etc, i've heard what they used to sound like.
and before i looked at their magazine articals and just thort "another depressed rock band"
but now i have three cheers, and ive heard some of bullets, i have to admit that i love their old music way more. theres something really exciting, fun and out of control about their other songs. but now its sort of more controlled, gerards voice is edited way too much so it sounds perfect and the riffs arent quite as exciting.
im not really sure aboutwhich one i like more, becoz it was there black parade album that made me buy three cheers...
okay that was long.
sorry lol

The old my chem for me were a comfort zone which really helped me back then.
But the idea and story is just really clever and the songs are pretty good. |
