Where were you when you first heard about MCR?

this guy at school recited lyrics to his girlfriend from FLW. I went home and looked up the song. That wasnt the first time I listened to MCR but thats when I knew they were my favorite band.

When i was sitting in my English class with my best mate and she brought her personal cd player in and we listened to it rather then doing our work.
at that point, i hated them lol.

but then i got a life and now they are one of my fave bands EVER

But then I saw Teenagers on tv and I went to youtube, saw the GOY video and fell in love

my grandpa gave me bullets album when i celebrated my birthday. it was three years ago. i love my grandpa!!

I was sick,laying down and watching music videos,i was about to change the channel because they were only playing rap (no offense to anyone who listens to that) then Helena came on,and i was like OMFG ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!
and THE SINGER LOOKS LIKE THE GUY THAT WORKS AT KROGER!!!!!!!!

I first heard Welcome to the Black Parade on a local radio station when it was going mainstream.
So I was probably in the car driving somewhere when I first heard them.

i think maybe 2 or 3 summers ago.
my cousin was like "listen to this" (Helena)
and i was like. Ew. Rock.

and she kept playing it.
and i was like hey, this is nice.
and the love grew. hahaa.

and then the black parade came out.
and i was like woah.

My friends and I were doing a spoof of WTTBP for a talent show, and I didn't know the actual song, then while making a slideshow for this random account I had to use the song for the music, so thats how I was introduced to the music. but then I saw a Gerard Way quote in my friend's notebook- "one by one the penguins are taking my sanity" and decided to check out the actual band and the rest of the songs... and within a week I was obsessed.

helena came on the radio when i was in the car with my mom..... i was like "omg this is really good!"
