Gerard cracked his rib, tore (whatever) in his leg, Bob got burnt really bad, Frank got sick..and now they all have food poisoning.
I'm starting to think they have a deathwish, lol. :[
I hope they feel better soon :/

^^Kinda creepy that they might have a deathwish since Bob himself almost died from the staph infection. Did you guys hear that they have canceled tonight's show in Ohio again? It's rescheduled for tomorrow . I hope the guys and crew will get better but its kinda amusing how alot of shit keeps happening to them

Peninsula Health District officials are investigating whether food poisoning or something else is responsible for making two rock bands and local crew members sick after appearing at the College of William and Mary Saturday night.

Officials said they are still days away from having enough information to know what happened, but they are investigating whether the illness may have come from a catered meal by Williamsburg restaurant, the Green Leafe.

The bands, My Chemical Romance and Muse, became ill on Sunday, said Peninsula Health director David Trump. He said it was still unclear if it was food poisoning or if they all contracted the Norovirus, which shows similar flu-like symptoms.

Illness forced both groups to cancel their next show, scheduled for Sunday at Penn State University.

The Green Leafe is cooperating in the investigation, said owner Glenn Gormley.

"I've lost 20 pounds since Sunday morning," Gormley said. "I'm worried sick for these young kids." He added that in his 18 years at the Green Leafe, nothing similar had happened before. "

I was shocked when I saw the email... I hope they are okay. Food poisoning usually occurs when people serve overdue food or leaving it in unhygienic conditions. Whoever did this must be poorly trained...

good heavens....this is the worst luck that can fall on two of the world's best bands. If there was someone being sloppy about processing the food or preparing it, they should hang their heads in shame.

The only thing we can really do is hope and pray that the boys will be well.

what's the longest food poisoning lasts for?

It depends on the type of food poisoning, if it's Salmonella or E.coli it can last for ages and can be serious in anyone who is vunerable, but sometimes if its a less serious type then it can clear up within 24 hours, so it's hard to tell unless we know what it is.

I've flown over from the UK to New Jersey and was going to the Glen Falls, Reading and Bamboozle shows, but unfortunatley they've had to cancel Glen Falls. So fingers crossed they get better soon, poor guys have had such bad luck.

I was supposed to see them in Glens Falls, NY tonight, and they cancelled the show....

so instead I got tickets to see them in Portland, ME (and I'm also going to see them in Worcester, MA)... I hope they're better for then!!


Cuz, Bob was confirmed to be in the hospital...

and apparently theres a rumor going around that the Reading, PA show is cancelled, and that they "might" play Bamboozle and that they're possibly playing Portland and Worcester =/ (please dont freak out if you read that, because I'm not 100% sure on it, I just heard that somewhere)
