okay, don't freak out, this is only a rumour, but: someone on band Q&A asked if the belfast show is being cancelled because she heard it might be since only 600 tickets or so have been sold.

now i know a lot of people who are going to this show. i thought it would have practically sold out by now cause it's such a small venue and it's their first time in northern ireland.
someone PLEASE tell me there is no way this rumour is true because: srsly, what the fuck!?- i think i will have a heart attack and die if there is any truth to that.

I think, if there was any controversy over having the show or not, MCR or someone directly connected to them would have told us [by now].

The number of unbelievably dumb rumours going 'round at the moment is laughable.
I daresay this ^ is one of them.

But like Nat said, I as well, have heard of loads of people going to this show, and MCR are an incredibly popular band, so, basically, in my opinion, that rumour is bull.

Well on the first day the tickets were released almost five blocks had been totally sold out, so I guess it's selling pretty well.
I can check with Ticketmaster for definite tomorrow and let you know if you want.

I wish my tickets would come.
I'm panicking.
Neutral

They could be late because of the postal strikes.
My uncle said everything's running really late and only bills and like benefit forms and exam results are being sent out quickly. Everything else is back-logged.

Thanks a million,
thats made me a bit calmer about it all!

Black Confetti:
i haven't heard that it is cancelled but it almost sold out there a only about 200 tickets left.

That's what Jacqui said and I believe her.
Coz she's the local Ticketmaster outlet. And they'd have to tell the outlets if it was cancelled.
So she'd tell me.

^ sorry!!
it's just what i saw someone ask on Band Q&A, but it's just some stupid rumour. although when i first saw it i did almost have a seizure as well.

this is probably going to appear like a really lame question, but what does the 'ND' in the title of this thread stand for?! o.O

The panic is over.
They arrived today.
I can safely say,
I've never been as relieved in my whole life.

I am never getting tickets off the internet again.
It makes me borderline hysterical :L

Why do people make up so much useless shit? 600 tickets? Where did that number even come from?

This show sold-out this weekend according to Ticketmaster.

Nice Dance

First post here nearly gave me a heart attack.

Those who are travelling to the gig (i.e. not living in or around Belfast!), are you staying overnight or coming home afterwards? I'm just curious to see who else will be on the graveyard bus. Smile

I'll be getting whatever late night bus goes to the airport. I haven't booked my flights yet but I think it's likely that I'll be flying to and from Belfast International which I understand is a fair trek from the venue. Then I'm sleeping in the airport until the earliest flight back to London lol!

I've been looking for some youth hostels near Kings Hall but I can't find any.

How far is Belfast Int from Kings Hall?
