Eclipse Killjoy Age: 53 Gender: Female Posts: 96 | My vote goes to a tie: Adolf Hitler, and Pol Pot, just because of the sheer mass genocide that took place within their regimes....both of them based it on a particular race, or class, of people. Not only that, but both of them orchestrated elaborate work camps wherein people were forced to work under INHUMANE conditions. I think Hitler took it a step, further, though, as he played on Germany's economic depravation to convince an entire society to destroy an entire race of Jews. |
Sincerely Oblivious Banned Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 52 | Although Im sure there was some unrecorded worse leader, Im going to have to agree with Hitler... I think thats why the holocaust is so popular to... Because people agree it was so horrible? I dont know... |
Cloud Strife. Banned Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 1713 | Yes. Adolf Hitler, and the same reason Eclipse has said. |

Catharsis Jazz Hands Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 261 | Atchoo.: Pol pot was the leader of the Khmer Rouge, a communist regime in Cambodia during the 1970's. When they took control of Cambodia they imposed a very extreme means of agarian communism upon the cambodian population, where they all had to work in collective farms or forced labour projects. He is responsible for the death of a couple of million cambodians. |
Catharsis Jazz Hands Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 261 | Eclipse: I would definantely have to agree with you there, the regimes of the Khmer Rouge and the Nazis are some of the most shocking in history. |
TaraIsBack! Bleeding on the Floor Age: 45 Gender: Female Posts: 1618 | This is a hard one to say. I think Hitler would win because he was recent history. There are photos of what he has done and a written word of it.... But then you have to think. What about a leader who had no numbers to calculate the deaths? No written word of his triumphs? No photos of his wrath? |
the original JULES Demolition Lover Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 19598 | Adolf Hitler is the most obvious decision, and for good reason. But I was just reading up on Josef Stalin, and you know, he was a tremendously awful man too. Hitler went against people he believed were scum and unworthy of life. Stalin went against his own family. His son tried to commit suicide, because of how traumatising Stalin was, yet he failed and survived the attempt. Stalin was later reported to say, "He can't even shoot straight." Then the same son was captured during the German invasion into the Soviet Union during WW2. German soldiers captured Stalin's son, and offered an exchange - his son's life for something else (I honestly forgot). Stalin replied that there would be no exchange, as he had no son. Obviously, his son died as a result. Stalin was a dictator, same as Hitler, however Stalin's crimes were a lot less known about. |
With nothing to say Thinking Happy Thoughts Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 454 | can i say PRESIDENT BUSH |
With nothing to say Thinking Happy Thoughts Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 454 | mr george Bush, he destroied Iraq, and due to his leader ship destroyed MY UNCLE!!!![9/11] |
Ghostgirl191 Jazz Hands Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 288 | ^well i agree that president bush sucks and is a horrible leader, but he isnt the worst. and i'm sorry for your loss. I would also say that Hitler is probably the worst, i hate him with every fiber in my being, but i also hated King Henry the 8th, all he focused on was having a son and getting laid. And one that i despise with almost every fiber in my being, Marie Anntoinette of France, 97% of her country lived in poverty while she indulged in beautiful expensive things. she was a horrible queen |
girl interrupted. Salute You in Your Grave Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 2792 | Well I'd say Hilter. Aren't parts of Hiroshima [sp] still recovering from the Holocaust? That's what our head teacher said a while back. |
UndyingSoul. Really Not Okay Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 722 | would anyone notice?: But Bush cant even be compared to someone like Adolf Hitler. Hitler definitely. |
Ghostgirl191 Jazz Hands Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 288 | ^ bush sucks yes, but i think almost everyone here agrees that it was Hitler. but seriously guys, who else do you think was an evil/horrible leader? hitler wasnt the only one |
Mindfuck Always Born a Crime Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 5614 | Mao Tse-Tung was pretty bad. Stalin. Pol-Pot. Hitler. Saddam Hussein. For me, it's a tie between Hitler, Pol Pot and Mao. But ^^all of those leaders were horrific. And I'm sure there's more. I find it ironic that most of the socialist leaders, who promoted communism and a sense of community and togetherness within their countries [as well as many other things], were so brutal. Most of them slaughtered thousands, sometimes millions, of their own [I'm talking about socialist leaders here, not Hitler]. |
the original JULES Demolition Lover Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 19598 | There was also Mussolini. =/ Italian dictator during World War Two. Him and Hitler were the best of buddies, I'm sure. |

Thug Life. Bleeding on the Floor Age: 33 Gender: Male Posts: 1315 | You know not saying im a fan of Hitler or anything but he did happen to pull Germany out of an economic slump and he managed to boost german nationalism a fair bit. not to mention he fixed german infrastructure and lowerd its taxes ?. why should we just focus on his bad points . he may have been a monster before he started a war but if you think about it he was a brilliant leader for germany . im not overlooking the holocaust i think its just wrong to focus on the mans wrong doings. As for my opinion on the most destructive leader. it would have to be.Hideki Tojo the prime minster for Japan during World War two. he made bad decisions fighting the war, and because of this his nations natural resources were depleted, The jpanese imperial navy was completly wiped off and no to mention his people starved conserving food for the troops. due to his bad leadership and judgement it lead to the distruction of cities in his country by the US armed forces. i havnt even begun to describe what he did to the rest of the pacific. |
