Dani V. Presents...:
history boy.:
There was also Mussolini. =/
Italian dictator during World War Two. Him and Hitler were the best of buddies, I'm sure.

They were. He even influenced Hitler.

Yeah, Hitler actually admired Mussolini.
And most of his fascist ideas, that were then put into action as 'The Final Solution' were Mussolini's.
He wrote about it in Mein Kampf.

Super Saiyan !:

You know not saying im a fan of Hitler or anything
but he did happen to pull Germany out of an economic slump and he managed to boost german nationalism a fair bit. not to mention he fixed german infrastructure and lowerd its taxes ?. why should we just focus on his bad points .
he may have been a monster before he started a war but if you think about it he was a brilliant leader for germany . im not overlooking the holocaust i think its just wrong to focus on the mans wrong doings.

Sure, people can focus on the good points. But the fact of the matter remains that the bad points of Hitler's regime far outweigh the good.

Not as much has he could though.
Technically, he's the most powerful man in the world.

He could send a lot more than he does.

President Bush has his faults, there's no denying that.
But so does every other Prime Minister or President.
Their way of the running the country will never please everybody.

But what most modern leaders (I'm talking primarily in the western countries) is subject a group of people to complete inhumane treatment based on prejudice that is as factual as a lie.

I think Hitler or Mussolini, because Mussolini influenced Hitler and Hitler was a murderer. Maybe not directly, gas-them-himself, but he ordered it

I'm rather fond of Roman emperors Nero and Caligula. Both equally insane, both living on as a legend nearly 2000 years after their deaths. I think that's pretty impressive.

But yeah, Hitler and his doings are the nearest for most of us, and the most talked about as well. Though I believe the worst leaders of the last centuries have reigned somewhere outside of Europe or North America, we just might not know that. I mean, if you look at North Korea right now, nobody really knows what's going on there and how many people are dying thanks to the almighty leader of theirs.

I think Stalin and Hitler were pretty equal--Stalin was just better at covering up what he did. Hitler made a big show out of what he thought was "purifying Germany", whilst Stalin just had anyone he didn't like assassinated. Both of them were pretty good at ruling through fear and hatred. I've heard Mussolini and Hitler were pretty good friends as well, so he can't have been all that good either.

Bush isn't evil, he's just stupid.

I'd say Hitler. But that's just 'cause I don't know so much about the other ones. But I think that Hitler was the worst.

PlushToy:
Mao Tse-Tung was pretty bad.
Stalin.
Pol-Pot.
Hitler.
Saddam Hussein.

For me, it's a tie between Hitler, Pol Pot and Mao. But ^^all of those leaders were horrific.

And I'm sure there's more.
I find it ironic that most of the socialist leaders, who promoted communism and a sense of community and togetherness within their countries [as well as many other things], were so brutal. Neutral Most of them slaughtered thousands, sometimes millions, of their own [I'm talking about socialist leaders here, not Hitler].

Yea...those were all the ones I could think of. Most evil leader is not the most common of breeds.

I'd say television. It's not a person, but it's violent
and sexual content sometimes gives bad
ideas to people.

^If it's the McCarthy I think he's talking about, then it's the U.S. senator that held up a piece of paper that he claimed listed all known communists working in the U.S. It led to a "witchhunt" of sorts that ruined lives, careers and threw many in prison.

the thing about Hitler is that if you took his rule before 1938, when he really started persecuting the Jews he was actually a good leader and did great things for Germany, but after that...

im not trying to condone it AT ALL but i just thought it was worth mentioning.

i think pol pot is pretty high up there, Stalin as well.
