Just One Grin

Have a heart, we know shame
You’re the one to blame
You made me cry at night
Beating until I could not fight,

The skin’s black and blue
No, I don’t think you knew
On the outside I am dreaming
But my head keeps on screaming,

Do you know this hard feeling?
Desperation keeps you reeling
This darkness has a part
In a life we never start,

Oh, how can I?
But I really, truly tried
To forget this life I made
Rubbing hard with a broken blade,

I don’t know you, listen close
We’ll always break what is loved the most
Just porcelain, little dear
Break it, so it won’t hear,

Keep that smile in place
How pretty is your face
A sugar coated grin
To hide the hell I’m in.

Finally I Break

Your greatest sorrow
There’s no tomorrow
I have no time
To pay for my crime,

Take that needle, strike it true
I always be thinking you
You tried to forget
But you will regret,

Here’s to the life
Scratched out by knife
And sentenced to hell
Where the hopeless dwell,

This is my crime, my eternal sin
Why fight a battle I’ll never win?
So there goes a corpse, into the ground
How she weeps, not a sound,

I’m a prisoner in my mind
Oh the pain makes me blind
Striking out, when I’m hurt
Digging deep through burial dirt,

Say I’m a freak, say it with laughter
‘Cause in the end, I’m the one you’re after
I’m hating every breath you take
Today’s the day I finally break.

Color My Medication

Red is the color you make
For every smile you fake
It is the deepest cut, a line
That tells me you’re not fine,

Blue is the color of beating
Where hope itself is fleeting
A world of imperfections, how sad
Telling yourself, it’s not so bad,

Black is the color of the heart
A soul never again to start
That voice screaming for attention
The love you forgot to mention,

Gray is the color of death
Gasping for breath
A spiraling lie, a rush
Quieting life in a hush,

These the colors of my mind
The colors that always blind
These the pills that I take
To heal the pain, or break.

Skin Deep

Wonder if they give a fuck
Just nod and smile dear
How this really must suck
I am what I fear,

Wonder if they heard
They’d always walk away
Not saying a word
Leaving me to stay,

Hate all the freezing glares
They know what I’m like
Still they stare
This can’t be right,

Such a pretty little gun
They won’t know what hit them
Until I’m finally done
The laughter I can’t stem,

But that’s just a dream
In the world, I am coward
Things aren’t what they seem
When the mind has soured,

Violent much, don’t despair
Madness is skin deep
And hope was never there
Now lay me down to sleep.

Imprisoned

Oh, we’re all going to die
Sure as we lie
Says the sun, hello
The moon, kill a fellow,

Don’t reach for me
I’m not what you see
A fucker who screams
In midnight dreams,

Oh, we may hang
Listen, the villagers sang
Strike us down
And don’t make a sound,

The judge and jury
Struggle to hide fury
Oh what do you do
When the murderer’s you?

Father and mother
Please hug one another
I know what I did, the fault’s on me
That is, until I break free.

Black Red Thoughts

Forget about the names
We’re going down in flames
Slice open hope, you fade
Replaced by friends they made,

You’re crying in the open
Going to keep on hoping
We weren’t much fun
Can you handle a gun?

Red roses dot your shirt
It never really hurt
Oh, you’re gone
A heart, pencil drawn,

I’m standing in the dark
With nothing but a spark
But even that’s not right
It won’t help me fight,

The pain never stopped
The blood you always dropped
Forever stains the floor
Because you can’t take anymore.

Written Lies

Nobody here to break my fall
I’m about to lose it all
Don’t think they really care
Just stopping to stare,

Sister, what’s your fear?
Waking nightmares we won’t hear
Can I take you away?
A mind, led astray,

Whisper words, they scream
This can’t be a dream
Please smear that smirk
And teacher, don’t shirk,

Oh what’s to learn?
The blade doesn’t burn
Writing crimson lies
As your pretty face cries,

Maybe I’m weird, maybe
But that’s no reason to hate me
We’re all the same, deep inside
A disease, you can’t hide,

Never let them win
A bitter chocolate sin
Will turn you sweet
Always ending with defeat.

Heaven Is Hell

Will you take this flame?
What a shame
You’re going to die
Better this way, just cry,

No, I won’t show my pain
A bulletproof vein
I’m breaking you dead
But for now, in my head,

The clouds will part
Striking that thing of a heart
I’m hoping, wherever you go
That they will all know,

What now? Angelic girl
Sickeningly sweet, you make me hurl
Slam that pearly gate
‘Cause heaven is hell, it’s you I hate,

Hell’s not a bad place
Once you get a taste
And the ones you love
Watch close from above.

Morgue

The morgue plastic covers my eye
And often I wonder why
We are damned to die a death alone
Turning into useless bone,

The light flickers at night
No, I know it’s not right
But only in my mind
We’re going to be left behind,

Teacher, you say
We can’t be this way
Yes, we know you’re right
Maybe teenagers do it to spite,

In a hospital gown
But I see the frown
The lifeline ticks on
Just wait until I’m gone,

It was the doctor, not me
All I wanted, was free
The building jerks, hope it hurts
Watching as her blood still spurts.

Don’t You Dare

You say, “I’m not that smart”
It was then that tore us apart
Oh you’d never know it
Damn me for being a poet,

Your words are just too plain
The rhyming just drives me insane
What is it you were drinking?
Pretty sure that’s what they’re thinking,

But why does it have to be “good”
Show the emotion, it should
So fuck off the attack
Give a poor soul some slack,

I’m writing these words for you
Maybe you won’t hold them true
Or possibly that dimple
For you, is too simple,

So listen, don’t lie
These are the words I cry
Say what you want, I don’t care
But remind me over, don’t dare.

Problem

This is my problem
I hold it all in
The fear that got ‘em
Was my greatest sin,

What should I say
Eyes breaking the seams
Happy people pray
Away useless dreams,

I can’t help but fear
Spilling my soul
To a friend so dear
Hoping to tear away the whole,

So look for the outlet
Cut deep for pain
Just afraid to shout it
The curse of insane,

We all wear that mask
The one with a smile
Just afraid to ask
Blood beating on tile.

Hook the Heart

Wearing my bulletproof vest
The bullets ready to test
Coyly smile, fire at will
Doesn’t matter, blood shall spill,

Break the soul, with lead
These are the words best said
Insanity slaps you hard
Sanity, but a shard,

Two or three
Hooks for me
Tearing chest, open wide
Then my heart cannot hide,

Tears of wrath, you suck
Humanity, no luck
So take this gun
And become no one,

Maybe if we try
Another way we’ll die
Such a mess we’d make
For sanity we fake.

Unbearable Price

I take my heart and this knife
Praying for a different life
Oh, how it hurts too much
Collapsing under your touch,

My tears seem to feed
The dying darker need
Maybe if I cut one mark
I'll get back that fleeting spark,

But I can't help, I know it's true
Just won't look at you
Do you know my pain?
Or am I just going insane?

Hate this face and this blood
I'll release it, the darkest flood
When we hold on too tight
In this life we often lose sight,

No, there's nothing left to say
I hope you pray
'Cause I'll never return
To a life I've yet to earn.

Lasting Mark

You sing of our pain
But what's left to gain?
Do you feel better now?
As the crowd takes a bow,

We know you'll never hide
Yet in our hearts, you can confide
You're pulling yourself through the dirt
Screaming how much it hurt,

Answering all of our cries
Telling us, "No more lies"
This is how it's going to be
Use the knowledge and see,

We may never live your past
But your dreams will always last
Because when you're dead and gone
We'll take what you told us and carry on.

Asylum

Who are you? Who am I?
What's it like, to never cry?
He's not laughing, she's just dead
There goes a mathematician without a head,

Whisper to the wall, "I cannot trust"
Draw a broken line, we must
What's that tapping on the door?
Is that a reaper on the floor?

Tie me up with some white
Don't forget the light
Twisted laughter hits the walls
Are there nuns in the halls?

Crimson blood
Falls like mud
So pretty are my pictures
There are spiders in the fixtures,

Keeper, sleeper, say good night
Time to give the kids some fright
Sister, mister, turn your cheek
People like me never speak.

Sever my heart, And hope to die

I’m not okay
I never will be
So hard to say
Just fucking kill me,

My head hurts so
Holes deep in my head
Mind’s breaking, let go
I yearn to be dead,

Damn those who hurt
And laugh at us
With danger I flirt
To life I cuss,

You may read
And wonder
Crying in need
I’m six feet under,

That will to live, came and went
My heart severed, no lie
This soul of mine is bent
Screaming out, let me die.

X-Mas

Merry Christmas, boys and girls
Sugary snowflakes flicker and twirl
Covering the earth in frozen death
Fingers nipping for your breath,

Open your presents, what do you see?
Coal and a severed hand for me
Little Sally, what did you get?
A letter full of deep regret,

Gather around the fire
Sing until our voices tire
Hearing such a sad song
No dear, everything’s wrong,

Santa hasn’t come for years
Now wipe away the tears
We don’t need him, not at all
Together we stand, while others fall,

Jingle bells, mixed with screams
Love this holiday of dreams
Now off to bed, he may come
Burning our presents with holiday rum.

No Second Chance

You hold my hand
And turn away
Words seem to fail
And anger burns bright

I have no clue
Shouldn’t we try?
The very reason
You make me seethe

Rubbing in my face
Wasn’t all my fault
This was your choice
Now stay with it, alone

Try to apologize
And make amends
All it does is hurt
Kill my heart once more

It’s really hard to say
Standing here in dark
Mind reeling and murderous
You will hurt me no more

Rose Tears

If teardrops were roses
They’d drop every time
And everyone closest
Would know the crime,

Cause we all see
Tears breaking free
Hush, not a sound
Your innocence, never found,

This is the story, maybe a lie
Always repeating, same old cry
If you’ll listen, turn away
Maybe even forget what I say,

Broken roses, falling down
Just like a mother’s freezing frown
What can I say, so sad
My sanity gone mad,

Give them hell, never look back
This is the reason, my attack
Smiling now, at your death
Fade away, a silent breath.

The Dark side of Pink

It's there when you wake
And shows a lie
That sweetness you fake
After you cry,

The color of lips
Full of life
An evil that rips
With a smiling knife,

Loathe it so much
Never once donned
It burns at a touch
Like the rising of dawn,

The color, a stain
It's not what you think
The causer of pain
That color called pink.
