Hush, little darling
Don’t make a sound
Bitter tears drawing
Pictures for the ground,

This life, like leaves
Always decaying
Falling, it deceives
A useless body praying,

Please make no move
They cannot break
What they can’t prove
And burn on stake,

Live for you
And not for them
Please hold true
Or risk condemn,

So silence, my sweet
Your pictures are dear
In violence, defeat
Do they ever smear.

Why must we stand alone?
When it’s life we can’t condone
When it’s you, I’d rather die
Hate it when you always cry,

Memories, to fall apart
Broken records that won’t start
Want to forget? Press play
Won’t take the pain away,

Darken hair, blacken eyes
Be what parents despise
Worn out rant, say it again
Say it more, because I can,

You’re just mad, because it’s true
So what is life, without you?
Hate me, I don’t care
Know what’s right, what’s fair.

For every patient blamed

Lady Lithium

Give me all of your sorrow

This is the source of infection,

Easter Bunny, My Dear.

Little bunny
You’re so cute
Oh so funny
Who’d dispute?

Hiding those eggs
You’re a keeper I say
Those furry legs
Keep the bad luck away,

You’re a killer I say
Stinking eggs, sharp teeth
On small children you prey
That night when they sleep,

So little kiddies, run
That bunny’s a fright
Everything’s at bay, done

Afternoon Jitters

Could sit here
And still never understand
We fake cheer
Another broken command,

My heart screams for the
Loves
But my eyes shoot down
Doves,

Broken choices, maim
Our hearts, gone
Never play this game
Bleed past dawn,

Ever wonder why they stare?
Like they know
Something you should never dare
My life’s show,

Thousand spiders creep or drown
All those lies they need
Spitting shit without a sound
Never will we heed,

This is different, shudder
A darker feeling, so forlorn
Laying one the floor, mutter

You wave hello, good bye
And then you go

Teardrops leak through the ceiling

That life so lovingly gave
Inside, it still abuses

Tears turn to blood spills

We’re life’s treasures

The ashes of daisies
Swirl round your head
Your memory’s hazy

And fade out night

Ironic, I’m told
The flowers we found
Are now what you hold
Deep, deep in the ground.

Damaging, when you’re not here

A beacon to the whole

Vodka laced eye drips,
