Hallway of Eyes

Remembering the battle call
And marching up the unlit hall
Can they save us? Would they dare?
Would they stand there and stare?

We live this life, one thought in mind
A reason, an answer to find
Why must we fight in bitter strife?
When these hallways are filled with life,

Is it a phase? Or something more?
I hear my heartbeat in the floor
But there they go, ignorant of soul
I wonder, am I the one who’s whole?

If you see me sitting in that hall
Oh you the soulless may also fall
So when I sigh, it is not of grief
Just the knowledge there’s no relief.

Bittersweet Mind

I wrote this for you
My bittersweet love
I hope this holds true
A kiss from above,

I gave this some thought
Know you don’t believe
In case you forgot
And told me to leave,

So here it is, plain as night
No running or lies, read it— choke
‘Cause you savored all our fights
My bleeding wounds you sought to poke,

Where were you, every night?
When my eyes ached in pain
This I know, isn’t right
Fall asleep in disdain,

Where were you, I wonder
You were nowhere to find
I’m going down under
For you were my mind.

Mrs. Ana & Mr. Rex

You want the control
When there is none
You want to be whole
So you try to run,

You can't eat, grin
Oh feel the world staring
You cannot win
This fight of weight wearing,

Agitated and angry, why?
Thinner and smaller you get
Boy or girl who refuse to cry
"Why can't I ever forget!?"

Hey Mrs. Ana, Mr. Rex
And your foul son named Ick
Call me your soon to be ex
For you made me so sick.

My Name Is Rebel.

There he is, alone in the dark
But still has yet to make a mark
Can you hear? His silent mouth moves
If told to die, how would you choose?

This is not a story, nor a tale
About those who walk are bound to fail
For if I lay down, with one lie
You, my friend, are bound to die,

So smile big, live to age
And know it’s okay to rage
‘Cause in the end, you’ve won
Let the past go undone,

They told us to die- jealous!
You never had to tell us
We chose to live, while others fell
It was US who fought this living HELL.

For I am Silent

The first man, dead
The second, insane
The third, is silent
They whispered his name,

Starts as a game
From lips, goes south
Don’t know your own sight
The burning of mouth,

Ever heard this myth?
It happened, you see
Still don’t believe?
Just look at me.

Peter Had It Easy

What is happy?
I do not know
Is it sappy?
Or just for show?

I think maybe
It’s reserved for young
Who can’t hate me
Or brandish a gun,

Those were the days
Where ignorance was bliss
A joyful craze
We knew not what we’d miss,

So excuse me for crying
Oh old age hurts me so
Like Peter Pan, I’m trying
To forget what I know.

Are You A John Doe?

Physically he sits
A smiling face
But in his mind
He’s gone for miles,

Drugs and alcohol
Cutting and beating
You’re just as human dear
Immortal only by sight,

You had a hard life?
Good for you- you’re a fighter
A role model, a savior of sorts
Someone who died to live,

On invisible shoulders, you cried
Wearing a mask, I think
We simply ask, “What have you to hide?”
Grin- “Everything, sugar, everything”.

You Hurt Us, Girlie

Hey, little girlie!
What is that in your hand?
Your life’s gone curly?
Let’s try and understand,

You think it’s a fad?
A fucking fashion statement?
You think you’re so rad?
Your feet, inches from pavement,

How the hell’s your life cruel?
Born with a silver spoon
As you jumped off that stool
Choking, crying, till noon,

Oh forgive my rage
I just cannot comprehend
But this life’s a stage
Something broken, we can mend,

Your parents blamed the music
“Satan killed my girl for sure!”
This new look, she abused it
All we fought for, wrecked by her.

That Infamous Blue

How do you know it’s worse?
Looking in the mirror, eyes bleed
Does she know who’s in the hearse?
Just a broken body in need,

There is my grave, forgotten—old
Left to die just once more
Ring around the rosie, so bold
And we all hit the floor,

So I died hoping
That someone lived on
Somehow they’re coping
And smile at dawn,

For we all feel that nothing
That infamous blue
As our fingers are touching
Live, I’m begging you.

Such A Waste Of Time

Oh I love you
But I hate a lot
Thought I knew you
My sweet fatal shot,

This mask cracking, breaking
I cannot take much more
All my life I’ve been faking
To be what you adore,

But still you’re cruel
In small subtle ways
Fuck, I’m a fool
Just stuck in a daze,

An empty shell, that’s what I am
Oh barely the child you knew
Hard to act like I give a damn
For what happens next— I blame you.

Straightjacket Chaos

Here’s to the heartbreakers
Here’s to the tear fakers
Here’s to those who die
Here’s to those who try,

How can I cry, sobbing hard
Death left me its calling card
Heard it once, hear it twice
How the skin takes a slice,

You’re falling down, they can see
Erase the mistake you’ll be
But save you? There’s no point
Sever me at the joint,

Closing my eyes, I can see
Nightmares, day screams, bother me
Wake up crying, reek of death
Sobbing, shaking, without breath,

The mind is in chaos, muddled
Laughing from the corner, huddled
Insanity's the new youth
The mind’s way of finding truth.

Now We All May Hurt

We all know this truth
This horrible tale
Plagues all, not just youth
And for those who’ll fail,

But I know a girl
Who doesn’t cut, but burn
Scorch the flesh, hairs curl
A hate of life, yet to earn,

Doesn’t hurt anymore
She says with so much tire
It sucks when life’s a bore
And you must slice with fire.

Double Vision

I liken the heart to the sun
I liken the soul to a gun
Both are pretty, yet dangerous still
Since when did innocence learn to kill?

Teardrops shatter through the floor
When life churns out nothing more
We’re walking in a crowd, you see?
Forever lost and never free,

People moan that we’re not right
Perfection has stained their sight
Oh woe the day when music’s gone
Sides are chosen and lines are drawn,

Black’s not a poison, but a release
For in this day, it’s our only peace
So young, so old—there shouldn’t be hate
Oh this is often why we’re too late.

Hello, I’m Worthless

Hello, I’m worthless
Who are you?
Mom says I’m hopeless
Is it true?

Dad? He stays silent
Oh I am his disgrace
Inside I’m violent
With a murderous face,

What’s that? You’re scared?
I am sorry, I surmise
My friend, you dared
You’re the one I don’t despise,

It comes and it goes
My “sickness” I say
Of my deepest woes
Let me live today.

You Are Hateful

You are so lovely
And I am so not
You are so smart
I merit a shot,

You are my friend
And you are my blood
You are my accuser
And I am the mud,

You laugh when I cry
Say I’m nothing but bones
And tell me to die
I’m pathetic, alone,

You photograph my tears
Why? Why are you cruel!?
Still you announce my fears
Like I’m nothing at all,

You are my soul, my mind
Without you I’m dead, you see?
You are the face that mirrors my own
Beacause—oh god—you are me…

Novocain Candy

Oh we love with our eyes
‘Cause our hearts aren’t feeling
It’s just these lies
Keep you reeling,

Stand where you are, heart in hand
Am I brave or am I damned?
It’s a hopeless notion, so long ago
‘Cause if there is an end, I would not know,

I take the beating and screaming enough
What will it take to prove you were so wrong?
A heart crippling splinter, so rough
To know that your fate’s held by song,

Take our hand, tell us it’s alright
‘Cause our windows shudder in fright
Oh maybe it’s anger or maybe not
Just try to remember what they forgot.

Well now I hadn't wandered this way in awhile. I hadn't seen you'd made a collective works. I like the new system.Tehe

Loving this latest shot, the framing to it is quite unique for one of your poems. Gotta mix it up sometimes.Smiley
