sounds like a good idea, there aren't many small bookstores where i'm from unfortunately. closest place is an indigo.
all the good book stores are downtown. |

switch to mozilla while you still can transfer data between chromium browsers and others. i wouldnt put it past google to disable data transfers.
I switched to firefox and duckduckgo. Firefox is good, but duckduckgo has a pretty bad algorithm and I still have to use google sometimes
Silver lining: maybe holding people's attention hostage will do that much more to radicalize some fools. |

oh, yeah its basically the Canadian version of Barnes and Nobles
very corporate and lacking of charm compared to small ma and pa bookstores |

i still use google search, i heard there was some bad stuff about duckduckgo. though i never actually looked into it… i’m just gonna assume they also sell your data.
but yeah, hopefully once people see how annoying and obnoxious advertising has gotten and chrome starts seeing their data farms dwindle in numbers they might reinstate proper adblocking as an option..
not to mention a lot of the crappy scam ads and malware shoving ads that so many websites for some reason(probably money and a general lack of caring about potential victims of these scams/viruses) allow on their platform. absolutely ridiculous. |
