Posts: 574 | April 28th, 2007 at 10:03pm Well, I'd have to agree that there are some homosexual elements. The chorus says, "We're just two men," and a few lines later, "I'll kiss your lips again." I don't see any arguing with that. I don' know much about Gee and Bert (If you have a link about their relationship, will you PM me?), but that's what it sounds like to me.
I'd like to know what the line about keys to the hotel means. Is it a metaphor of sorts? Gee uses a lot of hotels as metaphors (Heaven Help Us, Famous Last Words, etc). |
