flesh to stone.:Yes, it is.
=)
+Okay..well you click on the Brush tool and select one of the round non blurry brushes.
+in the top right hand corner of photoshop theres a little tab saying Brushes Click that.
picture of it here
+in that menu click Brush Tip Shape
-put the Diamater to around 4 px
-Put Spacing on %1000 or so.
-Where it says roundness put that on 20 or 30%.
+Then click Shape Dynamics which is on that menu.
-Under the heading Angle Jitter there is a dropdown box put that dropdown box on Direction .
Then all you do is brush it on like a normal brush. just fiddle with the diamater and spacing to get the size and spacing of the lines that you want. |

Like this? Thanks, marki.
But anyway, since that's mine, I can answer that.
I'm doing that in Photoshop, though Illustrator's really meant for these things and Photoshop isn't.
Find an image. you want one that's not too dark, has a nice range of color so it looks interesting when you're done.
You start with the darkest area, or the darkest area of a section you mean to deal with first.
Using the Pen tool, select around the darkest part, and once you close it, right click on the closed area.
If you look down the options, there's one that says "define vector mask", click that.
Then go to the paint bucket tool or the gradient tool and fill it with color. Repeat for each other section.
There's probably something I'm forgetting to tell you, but that's more or less it. |

I knew I'd forget something.
Each time you do it, it has to be on a new layer.
Sorry. >< |

Well first you'll need a program like win zip, most fonts you come across are zipped.
Once you've downloaded the font you'll need to open up winzip and go on open, find the font file you just downloaded click it then go on extract.
You'll usually need to extract the file to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts .
If your computer is like mine you'll also need to open up the fonts file itself or you wont be able to find it when you come to use it in photoshop (stupid i know). Once you see that the font has defo been unzipped into the font file you should be ready to go! |

Age: 38 Gender: Male Posts: 31690 | March 16th, 2007 at 08:50pm I doubt this will be at all helpful, since I couldn't get the mouse in there to show where I clicked and whatnot, and I'm not sure what the problem is anyway.
I opened the image, made a new layer. Ignore all the crap in the background, just that AP image, the layers area on the right, and the toolbar on the left are important.
Started selecting the image with the pen tool.
click a couple more times to get the outline, then click on the first one to close. It shows a little circle next to your mouse (which actually looks like the tip of a pen, yeah, you know that by now) to show that it's closing it.
Right click in the middle of the area selected by the pen tool. You should get this.
Go to paint bucket and just act like it's a normal selection in filling it.
I don't know, maybe the problem is also that mine is a beta. I was attempting vectors and discovered this by accident. Maybe it just makes itself a vector even if you don't do that, try and fill it to see. If it fills the entire thing, it's wrong. Uh, yeah.
I fail. |

I downloaded a MCR font off the internet, but I can't use it on MSN, and when I type with it, I can't type 0, 1, *, <, > and some other charachters. Is there a way to let me use it on MSN and type those numbers and charachters I need. It's called "mom's typewriter", if that helps. PM me with help. |
