Mr. H. Ellis Dare

Hell is standing alone
Waiting in the hallway
It’s what makes you odd
It’s like never biting at chance

Hell is speaking to no one
When your voice is a whisper
And you cry in bed, die in bed
Sitting on the stairs, they go by

Hell is not screaming aloud
When your soul shrieks for hours
It’s like nails on a chalk board
It’s like killing a puppy or kitten

Hell is the fact there’s no future
Staring into the urine stained toilet
And seeing what you’re meant to be
Full of watery sorrow, a piece of shit

Hell is knowing no one will come
That your death meant nothing
And your message, still screaming
Help me. Help me. Help me.

Hm, been watching Supernatural lately? Of course you have. I can tell by your latest poem.

But on a more serious note, it's the most relatable poem I've read in a while. All the ones I read from you are relatable.

In your first poems at the beginning of the thread, if those ocurrences ever happened, would going insane feel any better? I'm sorry if I'm intruding or making you feel uncomfortable. What I mean is, if you did some crazy insane, and I mean INSANE, things like angering the randomest people, or pulling pranks, and getting blamed for it, would that feel better? I think it's fun and when you get blamed for it and people start to hate you even more, you can strut around and say, "Yes I know!" and be somewhat proud of it. The people who intimidated you and made you feel down would feel like they're powerless and speechless. They will be silenced by your boldness. That's just my opinion though. It is a little off topic of the poetry, but it's something that I got from it. Sorry

Sundae

You ever had a sundae?
Sweet and wicked,
Melt on your tongue
Sugar-filled sin?

I enjoy mine real cold,
So when I scoop inside
All the cherry syrup
Comes flowing out—

It’s a rarity
But I love blue sprinkles
And how they melt
Into the cherry sauce and vanilla cream

Oh yes, it’s so fine
And some times
When I’m real patient,
I get seconds.

Blood-Smeared Lace

What is happiness,
But inherent fear?
What is love?
When no one is here?

She is an artist,
She is a lover—
But she thinks we see
The marks that cover

Like wedding lace,
Tie her broken heart—
Yet when you touch it
Her world falls apart

He doesn’t know it
We killed him down dead
He was a rock-star
Who fell on his head

Re-read the lines
Etched onto her face,
Behold a soul
That is but a trace!

A slap to the cheek,
You’re NOT just one who FAKES!
You are invisible,
But you HAVE what it TAKES!
