MyChemicalBlack Salute You in Your Grave Age: - Gender: - Posts: 2351	February 4th, 2010 at 04:31pm Shooting Star Have you ever seen a shooting star? Going fast, but never far? Have you ever wondered where it goes? Past the desert and to the poles, Have you ever seen a star cry? Screaming, "Why do we die?" If you've ever seen a star dance, In your heart, you have a chance. __________________________________________________________ Fly If I told you I could fly I wouldn't ever answer why, But, I'd tell you how it felt The sky's embrace as the land nelt, Wind tugging at your hair Gentle fingers of care, Life itself would stop and wonder While you'd go on without a ponder, Gliding through the balmy daylight sky Slicing past the stars that never die, To truly feel this marvelous gift Is to know the will of a bird, mighty and swift ----------------------** I was surprised to find these wedged under some books in my attic. That's 7th and 8th grade material right there, lol. xD

If I whisper a secret, You must never tell, Of how I live In a never-ending hell It’s not physical, My family’s just fine, But oh, how it withers And kills my mind You see, I’m wheezing, Drowning in my head, I yearn for no heartbeat To tell me I’m dead Why do I think this? Why am I alive? I burn for a smile And shun the knife But I tell you now, Because the hour’s late, If I’m gone tomorrow Don’t be irate You’re my shoulder, I don’t think you know, Rather you see me smile Than let the tears show I repeat, repeat in my head, I imagine you crying At what I have said But remember, you said you wouldn’t tell Of my eternal burning hell, And just know when I hug you, I’m crying as well. ________________________________________________________________ **Came out darker than I intended, but I figured it was necessary. What if someone asked you to keep a secret? Hope everyone likes it, as much as one can in this situation.

I don't even know why, but there are tears rolling down my cheeks right now. I guess that means that this poem is AMAZING. <3 My god, you freakin' amaze me! Oh the headache comes And it goes! Breathe out, breathe out I die like I'm living, it's true You keep on smiling, But I'm not you Help her, help him Yes, the night is dark, Yet what are we But dead in the park? ______________________________________________ **It's another one of those "take it as you may" poems. Hope you like it regardless.
K.K. Bleeding on the Floor Age: 28 Gender: Female Posts: 1787	March 17th, 2010 at 06:46am I love your poetry.. Especially Your Choice.. <3 It kinda really identifies with my current problem/s.. I also loved Hopeless Life & High School but actually I think they were all really amazing =] WIsh I could write poetry... :} You have so much talent... think I'll check your poetry out more often :}

Trying to gloss, Our tearful cry, And maybe the dark, Often seen as bad— Reflects a truth, We knew not we had, It’s weird, I know, We can’t see in the dark, But often true light, Blazes through— a spark, And in this darkness, We believe our own mind, Until the light’s turned on And makes us blind, I’m sorry, it’s odd, I know, But really, I feel, it ought to be said— That the real truth comes From inside your head.
