yes all major medical advances do come from animal testing, but you cant beat down someone because they love animals and don't want them to be tested on.
my grandpa is dying of cancer right now, its horrible to wish that on anyone, no matter if you like them or not. and cancer is now having more natural treatments (acupuncture and many others) then chemotherapy.
if you ever say something like 'I can't wait for a loved one of yours to get cancer' again i will not think twice about reporting you to a mod. and this isn't the first time you've done it either, go re-read the rules before you post. |

what i said is that if someone doesn't want to see animals get hurt (whether or not it helps us), you shouldn't say something like that, at least try to understand what they're going at.

I'm against it. Some animals are saved from oil spills and crap, and get so used to being fed and housed that they can't go back, but that gives you no right to put it in a cage to be stared at for the rest of it's life. |

Ok dude, thats all good. So when your parents start withering away from cancer/related disease, I suppose they will just have to suffer instead of being treated without all of the wonderful medical adancements we have recieved from animal testing...afterall, it's sick, why should we let humans use what animals have DISGUSTINGLY suffered for...
For serious kid, life is about sacrifices. We still can't do everything we want to do in medicine without animal testing, so for the good of mankind, we still do it. We arn't here to look our for a few animals we have bred for the purpose of serving us, not when our own kind is contracting new diseases every day. |
