Oh and if you've watched the video on MSN of the show they taped in Philly...Ginger is wearing the bracelet I made for her in it! I had no idea she wore it during the show.

Hahah It was like 2 months ago.
But it was amazing.
Billy messed up during 1979 cause it was like -3703956 degrees AND raining. he was like "fuck, sorry when i wrote this song i didnt plan on playing it at the north pole" :] rofl.
Me and my friends had to wait 7 hours in that freezing rain but it was totally worth it cause we got second row center! =o
That was like the best night of my life.
I forgot the set list.
I know they played... tonight tonight, today, bullet, uhmmm... united states, bring the light, tarantula,stand inside your love, 1979... hmm... thats all i remember. >.<

They'll be back touring in the States again. Estimations have been between late spring and summer 2008.

They're going to Europe, Australia, I would presume they'll do some dates in Japan in between Eur. and Aus; there's a 3 week gap.

They still have to do a proper tour in Canada, and some major cities in the US. New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles being among them.
Maybe eventually they'll hit South America. which it wouldn't surprise me much if they went there from Australia in April and then did a date maybe in Mexico. Probably take a break and then finish up the US.

All purely speculation. Who knows what will actually happen.



And is everyone aware they're back in the studio working on some material right now? Expected out around the 1st of the year.

In any case, has everyone gotten American Gothic? It's the 4 song acoustic EP that was released on iTunes a few weeks ago. As of right now, it's exclusive to iTunes but it supposed to be physically released to the rest of the world...though at this time it is said no physical US release (which could also possibly include Canada.)

I just got it, I haven't listened to it yet. I've heard mixed feelings on it. The biggest complaint is that it isn't completely acoustic. Think more like um, La Dolly Vita. I will be able to give a better impression once I listen to it myself later on today.

Oh man, you're gonna freak. They sound so amazing together right now. And they've supposedly been rehearsing something like 10-15 songs they haven't played yet.
I'm anxious to see if there's going to be new costumes debuted, new lights, etc...
with any luck, you'll get to hear Set The Ray To Jerry or Where Boys Fear To Tread. both were so freaking awesome.

But they probably won't be back over here til summer or fall. *sigh*
It's amazing how I made it 7 years just fine...and now that I have to wait a couple months, it's like torture. Probably because during those years, there was no hope of them coming around and now that I know they'll be back eventually, it makes waiting so unbearably hard.

Hang around after the show if you can. Billy's been pretty social about coming out thus far. Jeff, Ginger and Lisa are all super nice. So if you see them, call out to them; odds are in your favor that they will come over and talk to you if you make the effort.

As for American Gothic...I really like Pox and The Rose March. Well, I don't care for the intro the Rose March, but the rest of it is great.
I have a feeling we'll see a lot more EPs in the future. I think Billy likes the idea of it only takes a few weeks to do an EP as opposed to a few months to a year to do an LP.
My friends and I have been trying to figure out if Zeitgeist will be the last full length album and it will be all EPs and such from this point on. Billy was really vague and weird when I asked him about recording certain things. But he has alluded to the demise of the full length album and coming up with alternate means.

well on the flip side, if you can get there fairly early, you may catch them going in. Billy can be a little, um, cranky before shows but if you catch him on a good day...

I don't know what they are going to have available this time around. I hope there is new stuff though. They could totally use some new t-shirt designs
