I'd rather not have twenty other kids yelling "EMO" at me. And no, I don't think MCR is emo, but other people seem to. So, even though it feels like you're turning your back on your favorite band, I know that I love them. |

I have a Gerard sticker on the BACK of my phone, infinite MCR screensavers which I interchange on the FRONT of it; every computer I use sports an MCR screensaver, I generally walk around with an MCR hoodie on, Virgin can log my purchases there as being 98 percent MCR related, and I talk about them on average about every 9 seconds, so I'm gonna have to go with "No" LMAO |

I don't care if people look at me and think I'm a teenie [well...nah stuff them]. I don't care if people think I'm emo. I don't care about anyone who thinks they have to label me for sticking by my favourite band.

As an older person, most people who approach me about the band are curious to learn more. I said MOST. There are a few who think I'm ridiculous, but fuck them!
Don't get me wrong, I do still care what other people think, but I've become a lot stronger in the face of it, thanks in no small part to these dudes. How could I be ashamed of admitting that I love the very thing that helped to find so much strength within myself, that I never would've believed I had?
I feel sorry for the people who HAVEN'T found something like that for themselves. Then there's the community that we have here; some of the most amazing people I have ever met come from this fandom. That can never be a bad thing. |

As if I could ever be ashamed of those five guys.
