But anyway, the concert is going to be a rad time! I can tell already.
I think the majority of us are going on the 17th though,
I am...so I wouldn't be able to see you there. :[

4 days!! [it's midnight right now, haha]

I have butterflies in my stommy every time I think about the
concert getting closer and closer. I have $50 to spend there,
I've no idea what to get. But yes, let's try and find each other
and then we can be an awesome group of MCR kids. :]

The coloring book idea sounds amazing! I have a wicked Disney Princess coloring book that kicks total ass!

How long do you guys think that the concert will go for? Past Midnight? Because my sister and I have to catch a train back to...Somewhere..my aunt knows, but anyway. The last train out of there leaves at 12:40, I'm a little nervous that I'll miss it. THAT WOULD SUCK!!!! I mean, I'll have cab fair and everything, so I wouldn't be walking around Chicago or anything but it's like 5 miles to the train station and such...I just want to make sure that we aren't going to miss the last train.

Any thoughts?

I checked the Congress site and they have a FAQ, but their answer doesn't show a curfew of any kind, just that the promoter is responsible for the timeliness of the shows. I'm kinda thinking that there'll be an hour each allotted for the openers (so like 30-40 min performance time, with 20-30 minutes setup/break down before and after) and then MCR will probably play for about 2 hours. So if Billy Talent goes on at 6, Drive By at 7, MCR would probably go from like 8 - 10 or so. I think you should be okay. Even if everything ran late we'll probably be heading out no later than 11.

This is just my educated guess, though.

I was talking with someone who had gone to a show already from this little ditty they're doing and they said that they came on at about 9 and it was over at about 10:45 soooooo my sister and I should be alright!

This rocks! I am so dying right now! Three days!

EDIT:

I got some HotTopic Foundation buttons for the guys...I wonder if I could give them to the boys, or if anyone at the venue would do it for me....I was syked when I saw them because it's for a really good cause (Bringing music and the arts to needy schools!) so I thought that they would be into that, I felt good buying them!

Less than 2 days!

So my mom's "friend" bailed on us last second, so it looks like I'm taking my cousin to his first concert.
Which also means I'll have to fight to the front since he still has to go to school and the venue is alot farther from from my house than I thought so I'll probably get there late.

I still don't know what I am going to wear...exspecially shirt-wise...All I own are MCR shirts. I mean that seriously too...I think I have 3 maybe four shirts that aren't MCR ones.

Is it super noobish to wear the shirt of the band you are going to see? I don't want to be super noobish!

Me! *raises hand* I'm on the 18th. I'll probably be in baggy jeans and some graphic tee...I'm so creative. I'll write INO on my arm too, and I'll probably be near te back of the line...

My friend bailed too, so now I'm not only bringing my dad, but he's bringing his girlfriend and the daughter of his girlfriend's friend who painted his house or something insane like that. Whatever. I'll just tell them to walk behind me. X)

Yeah, I probably will get there late. But I'm going to wear a red MCR tank top that I made and my friend will be wearing one too. So if you see two girls wearing matching red MCR tank tops, thats probably us. haha
