sad savior; Wild Eyed Joker Age: 28 Gender: Female Posts: 86309 | Also I'm officially finished with week 1 of C25K! I'm a little scared for week 2 haha |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | I always do in the morning, when I get home, and at night before I go to bed. The only number I take seriously or record is the morning. The night one is just because I'm curios what happens while I'm asleep. And the other time is a bad habit |
fire at will. Damned After All Age: 35 Gender: - Posts: 105653 | I'm actually too scared to weigh myself. I may start C25K this week, but it'll be T/Th/Sat, since I have school on M/W |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | apparently my 21 day arm challenge paid off I just measured the circumference of my arms and, assuming I measured them correctly on the 8th, I lost an inch. They're still flabby as fuck, but that's cool |
sad savior; Wild Eyed Joker Age: 28 Gender: Female Posts: 86309 | Attempted C25K W2D1 yesterday and got an overwhelming urge to throw up. I pushed myself until I couldn't anymore and thought I was going to vomit or die and I got halfway through. Several things I think: - I didn't eat right before. I had only had breakfast and it was right before lunch time. Usually I have a high carb snack about an hour before I run. - Ran on the treadmill in my garage that my nana is storing here for the time being. It was hot and the treadmill was much different/faster/idk than the ones at the gym. - I wasn't at my most energetic. I always workout or run at night, usually 8:30 - 10ish because that's when I feel I can do my best. It was like 12:30 yesterday SO I probably won't be trying that again. But I am going to continue C25K and try again tomorrow at the gym like normal. |
fire at will. Damned After All Age: 35 Gender: - Posts: 105653 | I haven't been eating so well lately but I'm trying to get out of that habit. Today for lunch, I made chicken with steamed veggies and a cup of brown rice. For breakfast, I don't really eat breakfast but I do have an energy smoothie at work. Not sure about dinner just yet. |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | Probably going to ginx myself here, but I weighed in at about 202.8 this morning. Which is like, 2 lbs in two days. I must be doing something right. Or wrong. But that's good because it gives me a little wiggle room for this weekend for the bonfire and my nephew's birthday party. Two weeks left to hit 199 in the clothes I need to weigh in wearing |
sad savior; Wild Eyed Joker Age: 28 Gender: Female Posts: 86309 | Yay Becca! I totally believe in you. Jenni I believe in you too, we can all do this! So my period is coming in a few days and I can tell because I've been craving carbs and sweets. I'm hoping to see a drop in weight once it starts though. I usually do. I've been working on eating intuitively and I'm not perfect at it yet but I am getting much much better. I'm starting to recognize real hunger instead of emotional hunger. And I've stopped putting myself on a schedule for my meals and instead just eat when I'm truly hungry. |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | well, I let today be my overeat day I guess. At least I got a walk in, so it wasn't a totally bad day. And I've realized the chances of me eating a lot at the bonfire are slim because I'd be eating in front of other people. Whatever. I just have to get through this weekend relatively unscathed and I think I'll make it okay. But you reminded me hollie about my period. It's still about 2 weeks away, but it's going to be right around the time of the competition, and could severely mess with weigh ins. I'll have to keep that in mind |
sad savior; Wild Eyed Joker Age: 28 Gender: Female Posts: 86309 | My weight is the same. I've been staying on track with c25k though. I really hope it starts going down again soon because I've been stuck for almost 2 months. In other news I've developed a thigh gap when my legs are hip width apart. It wasn't a goal of mine but it's pretty nice lol. |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | Okay, had a rough weekend with a couple food based events, and not much opportunity to exercise, but I went back on track yesterday, and as of this morning, I was where I was Friday morning - 202.8 So I really think if I stay vigilant this week and next, I can get where I need to be for next Saturday. Then I'm going to celebrate with far too much pizza. After that, I want to go back to 1-1.5 lbs lost a week instead of 2. My only worry is that I won't be able to get back to that level of eating habits because now it's really easy to eat nothing more than 800 calories a day, provided I don't snack. I guess I could start buying chocolate milk again |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | Stupid phone |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | Do I just speak too soon or something? I messed up on Tuesday. I had a bad class, and I think I'm pmsing so I bought some brownies and ate them. I of course went back up, at the worst possible time. I'm hoping part of it is pre period weight since it's sure to start next week but idk. so I'm changing up my days until the tournament. Seriously going to eat as little as possible, provided I don't feel like I'm depriving my body of needed fuel amd nutrients. I did just make some zucchini boats that can't go to waste, so they'll be lunch instead of dinner, and for dinner I'm going to just have a light snack. Tomorrow I'm going out with friends so I'm combining lunch and breakfast, also as a light snack. The only other hurdle is if my dad still plans on going out for breakfast on Sunday. Come next weekend I'm either going to feel massive guilt for missing my goal, or awesome pride for reaching it. Hopefully it's the latter |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | okay so update. I'm now 200lbs even, at least as of this morning. and I'm back on track after this weekend. I'm slowing my weight loss down from 2 lbs a week to 1.5lbs a week. Which will put me at about 6 lbs lost by the end of our fall challenge. My total goal was 15lbs, and this may be 14, but that's where I am right now. |
beaker; Ghostbuster Famous Age: - Gender: - Posts: 71107 | It's been a while since anyone has posted here, and I was the last. No one else may come back, but here it goes. I hadn't really realized until today how much my habits have changed. I guess they've been really subtle. To an extent, yeah, I don't really crave greasy foods much anymore, especially since my body doesn't like them much anymore. But I still crave foods that aren't exactly healthy. But this weekend, I've not had much of anything of nutritional value. And I'm feeling it. A lot of chocolate, and sweets, and no chance to get a good workout in (except a little bit on Sunday) and I feel like a lazy ass. I feel weighed down. Then for dinner tonight, I had chicken with peppers and onions, and I feel a lot better already. Sure, still a little bad since I haven't tracked my calories since midday saturday, but just having that more nutritional food in me has made me realize how much my body is getting used to the more positive changes I've made. I even downed a ton of water because the soda I got today did nothing for me. I guess what I'm getting at is, about a year and a month ago I made a conscious decision to start making changes, and they were subtle, and annoying at times, but now that I let myself have a couple of days of old habits, I see how far I've come, and I'm a little proud of myself. |
vacant alleyWAYS Salute You in Your Grave Age: - Gender: - Posts: 2991 | Yep hey that happens. I apologize that I am just jumping in here but this is one forum I am interested in. I've been on a health and fitness pursuit for many years now, changed drastically last year, in some ways, was both diet and exercise, now the exercise is lagging, but never completly lost. I'm sorry, I might start rambling here soon so will stop now. Oh! One fun fact tho! I did just experience last night that thing you were talking about. I drank a DIET soda for the first time in idk years?? Maybe many months, definitely a few months of next to nothing sugar and what I noticed was that the DIET soda actually tasted sweet and tasty! A little background, I always thought diet soda was disgusting! I still don't believe drinking these are healthy either, but it was a nice refreshment after a long time and an interesting observation! Again, sorry for justjumping in here. I guess I'm just trying to get used to this site still. |
hunzana Awake and Unafraid Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 11270 | I'm also jumping in! She found a free class every sunday we're starting but I've never done yoga or any tough exercise. I'm not overweight but I feel like I could be a lot healthier and wanna change my lifestyle. |
