I look it the same way I look at being vegan/vegetarian or drinking.
I just don't want to.
Actually...I don't do drugs because I want to be a good role model to my sisters, and I don't have the time to mess up when I have everything going for me.

Yes, its that time again. Time for a completely one sided view on drugs.

Drugs. They don't seem to be the pathway to a happier life at all. Acting like drugs improve your perspective of life is like sitting infront of a television and watching every movie ever made and feeling wise and experienced after. Why be sitting there imagining you're a better person, when you could be out there, making yourself a better person. Sure, people see drugs as something new and cool, but come on, when people have done drugs to the extent that they die, you might start to think that everything about drugs has been witnessed before.

Sure, people often use them as an escape after major tragedies in their life, but how often do yo see that person after ten years saying " Gee, I'm so glad i went on the crack, it saved my freakin life". Or for that point, how often do you see that person after ten years alive?

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but organised religion has saved so many more lives than drugs.

But, then again, this is coming from a chick who don't take no aspirin...... biased?

Finally, if i ever was going to to drugs, i wouldn;t plan it out like "When i turn this age, i will do this". That's just doing it for the sake of it, isn't it?

I see that drug abuse is so wrong. it's like ruining your body when you're using it. i have never tried it nor have i plans on trying it cuz i know what will happen to me when i do that. drugs can be lethal when you overuse it. it makes people think differently which can be dangerous too. i seriously don't know why people do drugs. my uncle did drugs before and if you see him right now, he looked ready to die because of his super thin body. good thing he stopped doing it.

the only drug i am on now is Zoloft

It did happen to me a few months ago, and I did. A bunch of friends and I tried to talk her out of it, and she said we were being gay, and that there was nothing wrong with what she was doing.

None of us want to have anything to do with her, now.

i dont really mind them. whatever floats your boat. i know a few people who smoke weed and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. i've only ever had a drag of weed but i do plan on trying more it .

I've never done them, and I never will.
They totally mess you up, so there's no point. It's not worth it.
I could think of countless reasons not to do drugs.

My best friend who I grew up with used to do ecstasy....
She is now dead.

I have done drugs before. Nothing bad happened to me.

One of my friends overdosed on Heroin (sp?) though, and he was really sick for ageeeeees, poor guy. It was really hard for everyone around him.

i've smoked weed before a few times. but it really didn't have much of an effect on me and i didn't like it much. so i don't think i'll ever bother to do it again.

and everyone knows fake drugs are the new drugz.

Wow, I'm sorry about your friend. Are you sure it was just marijuana? Because that alone can't kill you... unless it's laced with something that can kill you.

Actually, yes, it can.

Only If you OD on Marijuana. Which is pretty unlikely. Marijuana has long term effects, not short term ones. It's pretty unlikely that your friend died of marijuana only.
