They try to get a good education, unlike the few kids who rather screw themselves over and just have a beer instead. They get their work done, no complaints; because when they come here they try to better themselves. The Bad: There are the few immigrants that make all the rest look bad, like bringing in illegal drugs or starting gangs to 'represent' their country. Some of them are flat out lazy, and just come to come I guess; I know a few who actually do this. The country has overpopulated a bit, and the immigration should slow down a little.

They do the dirty jobs we don't want, but these illegal immigrants overpopulate our schools, and bring down our country a bit. Putting them back in their country would be hard, because all those jobs would be lost, and a large chunk of our country would be missing. I think more work visa should be issued. Then the immigrants won't be as tempted to come in illegally.[/color]
Baby Jesus is Banned Age: 34 Gender: Male Posts: 518	May 31st, 2006 at 02:31am I live in Australia and here we have a huge illegal immigrant problem... they keep coming even though we lock em up in detention camps for years... the longest so far being one lady was locked up for 7 years and even after that we sent her back anyway... basicly the problem is our immigrants are stupid can we trade with someone else please... also we keep telling them in their countries "dont come here we lock you up and send you back cause we have no room" and yet they still come... at the moment though we are hiring asains from overseas cause they always work and for a slightly lower rate... GO ASAINS YOU ROCK... anyways... i think everyone would be happier if they learnt coming here is bad and stupid... cause then we wouldnt have to put up with the damned activists...

Delirium_x Bleeding on the Floor Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 1054	May 31st, 2006 at 02:11pm here(ireland),we have many immigrants from other EU countries (mainly poland), who come here to work. they live in terrible conditions for a developed country (talking,say,5 full families to one tiny house),and they are lovely people and more than willing to do the work that is asked of them. is it just me or should people be taking more care of their legal immigrants before they even start worrying about the illegal ones?

We're all citizens of one planet earth, and I have no problem sharing my country with others. This is your country just as much as it is mine.

And now there are a lot of young girls who come from very poor families so they become illegal immigrants, hoping to start a better life abroad. Unfortunately , they usually end up prostitutes and are not allowed to come back home.

Some of my friend's extended family were illegal immigrants, but they are the nicest people I've ever met. They came here looking for a better life. They want to get a good education and have good jobs.

So I lived in Sweden for 20 years, until I met the love of my life. And now I live in America. With my american husband. Should I get my ass back to where I came from? And where would that be? Sweden? Iraq?

There are a few immigrants that actually come here and work Which is good, they don't come and sell drugs, which for me is being lazy and the easy way out, which by the way most American's do. I just think the legal system should keep a closer eye on the immigrants that get the chance to sneak and never become a citizen. Which is a big no-no, you should at least try to become a citizen, even if it is a long, expenisive process it all works out in the end.

Those people pay taxes just like you do to keep the U.S. running. And those people that get a visa so they can see their family every couple years? Should those people get their asses back too?
